Hard to believe that Buddy in this movie is a robot. After the tragic suicide of the original Air Bud, they turned to animatronics because they could not find any dogs with the true athletic ability that Air Bud possessed. If only Air Bud's talented life hadn't been cut short, we could have seen Space Jam 2 staring Kobe Bryant and Air bud. RIP Air Bud.

The Air Bud movies are wayy better than the Air Buddies.. since the Air Buddies were created it ruined the whole thing.. on top of the talking which made it even worse. And the names are poorly chosen. Some are okay but oh well.. and to add, there are 6 puppies. Unless Buddy had another litter?.. i'm lost haha. I'm not sure if the Air Buddies are supposed to be hist first litter.. if so the names are wrong :)
