You can get a 125 for £800 plus a few bits of kit with the last £200 easily. You're only going to lob it down the road so it doesn't need to be too tidy.

I was thinking "They just need more speed", then I saw the 2ft puddle! I will suggest however not running the ruts, and standing on the pegs, when you start losing grip pull back or put your but on the back of the seat. Riding in mud is a hard one though, so many hidden obstacles ;D. Ever ride in sand or dunes? Kinda the same principle......... try to loft that front end with some acceleration. Wet rocks, clay mud, fun stuff lol! KTM are good bikes, GO Orange!!

depending on which one you buy like the ktm 50's and all the way to the 250's really have some big problems if they do break like because i tiped my ktm 50 over in a corner (along time ago) the big just basiclly fell apart. my opinion is that the honda's are an all around best for raceing or trail riding because of the awesome 4 storke hot starts yes and befor you say it i do know that almost all 4 strokes have them and the hot starts when you use them you hold it back while kicking over

You have to love the muck ; likely clay ( like grease ) . When you put your foot down it slips out and down you go ; tires have no grip and getting out of the ruts is a major challenge . Being cold and having a ton of cloth on and trying to move around , way too much fun . Off roading is very difficult , if it were easy , everyone would be great at it .
