BritneyBoyken you seem to have some real problems. 99% of martial arts can only be practiced in a dojo or training center, including MMA, Silat, Boxing, etc. There are no realistic martial arts. You build a foundation and then not get locked into technique. Learn the principles through pure muscle memory (procedural memory) and after years of training you can adapt intuitively. Learn techniques and then forget them. The specific technique is always bullshit in any "realistic" fight.

If your opponent is fast, you can forgot about grabbing his wrist, you are going to get hit in the face and never get the chance to apply a joint lock. Aikido is bullshit.
