Vincent would've killed this. Jayme is a pretty big girl for Everett (not saying she's fat!), and he's more hesitant to lead Jayme (or she's just that agressive).

anyway, i can't critique everett in this because he wasn't even on the stage to me. my eyes were glued on jayme rae the entire time. she is incredible. not many contemporary dancers can move their hips and shake their ass in these latin numbers, but jayme rae does it wonderfully.
but i will give credit to everett for those lifts. there were some really difficult tricks in there and they pulled all of them off. so kudos for that.
gotta give Everett props cuz he was holding JR like half of the dance, and shes all muscle right, its not gonna be easy. but he still kepp the energy up to. i like him lots and lots
The dancers did great with what they were given. It's unfair to judge their Ballroom Dancing based on this routine b/c it wasn't even real ballroom.....just bunch of old school tricks & lifts! Terrible choreography!
It did seem as though Jayme Rae was scared at times, but outside of that, she killed it. My only problems with Everett is his arms and his lack of strength, since he had to use his knees for some of the lifts which didn't look good, but overall, great technique and nicely done.
Have you ever seen a real samba? Jayme Rae totally killed it (look at her foot work at 2:30 !) Everett could have moved his hips a little bit more, but he partnered her really well and did the lifts like a pro imo.
And I don't think anybody could have made this dance faster with all the lifts the routine had.
I agree too. Everett really pulled it off... what was strange I think it was his costume. That's definitely not for samba! It was more like Vincent costumes for ballroom

It felt... I don't know. It was good, but just good IMO. Maybe an average top 12 area performance.
