We are the consumers of the world. When the jobs move overseas, our nation suffers. We no longer are the consumers because people without jobs do have the resources to make purchases. That is how it becomes an international crisis. We not only cannot purchase products made here, but those made in China. If we stop buying products the entire world suffers. There is nothing these politicians can do. The rooster has come to roost and also take a big dump on all of us.

Snyder did win this debate simply by avoiding the negative tone. I agree more with Bernero's policies, although sifting through both of their websites gives nearly nothing in terms of what their policies, if implemented, would do along with any semblence of a well researched reason. Nothing will change no matter who wins.

Why is it that no one thought it important to bring up Veterans? What would either of them do for people like me, who went into the service, went to war, and then come home to this mess? Guess its not important.
Snyder 'outsourced' almost nothing. Truth there is that he opened up a less than 1,000 square foot building and staffed it with 5 employees so that he could sell his American products in China. There is a law in China that prohibits the sale of imported products unless there is a facility in China, so in order to create jobs for his company, he opened up a miniscule facility there. Excellent business sense in my opinion.
I wish Bernero didn't so vehemently go after Snyder and focus more on his view points and plans for Michigan, but I have to give some leeway. He's using this time to try and level the playing field from the damage done by the negative ads in favor of Snyder. The ads were full of half truths and some outright lies. I found the "debate" that Snyder pulled out of to be a better information tool when trying to figure out what Bernero was about.
Okay after what I saw I have to say I am leaning toward Snyder. All Bernero did was attack Snyder while not really stating real solution's. I will give that Snyder didn't either but I got one thing through, he wants to bring the corporate income tax down to a flat 6% which I think if you want businesses to come to MI that is the way the way to go. Yes Bernero has come up with a balanced budget for Lansing five times but so have so many other City's because they are required to by the state.

I just discovered Virg is an sound-bite speaker. He is a professional speaker with little substance and uses the "He's bad so I'm good" technique.
