They have taken this down a half step or two....I really liked it until she got to her high notes, then she lost me. Great vocal tone...but she doesn't sound like a true soprano.

le fait qu'elle ait commencé comme contralto est indifférent. Sutherland a commencé comme mezzo et Horne comme soprano. Quand à savoir si elle ferait une bonne violetta, c'est hors de propos. Guleghina se cantonne au répertoire dramatique. Par contre, l'interprétation est loin de celle de la Olivero et le si bémol notamment est faux. La voix reste superbe et l'interprétation acceptable.

Having a voice, deep like a well, M.Guleghina should sing Baba Yaga (The Witch) in Dvořaks Rusalka!

Guleghina began her career as a contralto and it would be better if she remained the contralto. I can imagine how badly she sings Violetta. It is a shame for the theatre that it is so inscrupulous in choosing the singers for the part.

Да с таким голосом, глубоким, как колодец, нужно Бабу Ягу в «Русалке» Дворжака петь! Гулегина начинала с контральто и лучше бы с ним и осталась. Можно себе представить, как ужасно она поёт Виолетту. Позор для театра, что он так неразборчив в подборе исполнителей на партию.
