I agree, kilkolio- The woodpecker voices don't make sense. The original voice of Woody is done by a woman, Gracie Lantz. Her husband, Walter, made the cartoons!!
It's been a long time since I've seen this tv plug for Kellogg's "Rice Krispies".Thanks for sharing it with all of us..BTW:Dallas McKennon is the voice of"Woody's & Knothead's"arch foe"Buzz Buzzard".
Kellogg's sponsored "THE WOODY WOODPECKER SHOW" in syndication (and briefly on ABC) from 1957 through 1966. Part of producer Walter Lantz's arrangement with the sponsor [as Hanna-Barbera's, involving Kellogg's sponsorship of "HUCKLEBERRY HOUND", "QUICK DRAW McGRAW" and "YOGI BEAR"] was that Woody would appear in an "integrated" commercial for one of their cereals during each episode. This was one of the later ones, probably around 1965.

June Foray is indeed "Knothead"'s voice; Grace Stafford is, as always, "Woody".
