well you have managed to stick them together, but you have done nothing to show any level of accuracy obtainable in use. I'm guessing that at best this can be used for crude layout or measurments as the "square mate" is loose fitting and short in length and therefore the squares will not be forced parelell
Using two Squaremates on a pair of squares will insure that the squares are truly parallel (one near each end). The side thumbscrew forces both edges into alignment. The top screw locks them together tightly. If the screws are slightly loosened, the squares may be accurately adjusted and re-tightened. These are capable of very accurate and repeatable layout work when used correclty. My website has a lot of pics showing different ways to use.
