@themcc95 ok...not exactly. MC wasn't on reach when it fell. He and a couple other spartans did a top secret mission on a covenant ship to erase data that leads to earth. So after the events in halo 3, he re-unites with the a select few spartans, some from his team i.e. kelly, freddie....

@themcc95 actually John isn't the only one who escapes. You later find out that several other spartans made it out as well. And later they start making spartan threes as well which is what most of noble team is and because of that technically john is not the only spartan, just the last of his kind. That's what's misleading about the games. Most people think he's the only one left, but he's just the only spartan two left. Also I think they said that Jorge of noble team is a spartan two

the one of the ground is not a woman:

take a look at the features when inside the helmet (i know the eye lashes are long but that really means nothing).Also, I know the mjolnir is the same shade as Kat's but there is obviously not a robotic arm and so that person is obviously not her. This is just a short with some spartans, not ones from the game.

@aquateens127 You are wrong for 3 reasons. The first, you can see Jorge shooting at 0:19, which means this is noble team. Second, the armor looks exactly like Kat's, minus the robotic arm, because this was a few months before Reach and it is when the original Noble 6 died. And the last one should be a dead giveaway: 0:21 in the top left-hand corner of the HUD it says S-320 Kat.
