good choreography, you should have used more battle worthy sabers though, because the led's were getting knocked out during the collisions and your blades then had black spots. but you did good covering those up with editing but when they moved the sabers you could see where you edited. for battling you want the led's in the hilt not the blade. Just a hint for next time. Overall i give it a 15/10 Excellent work guys

this is pretty cool, however, (and this is something that I see in most choreographs) no attack is really meant to hit the opponent. each swing should be made at your enemy and not his/her blade. on many of your sequences I see you guys aiming for each others blades instead of trying for a particular body shot. otherwise fun to watch

In the future, you may want to add another one or two layers, with increasing gaussian blur, for the sabers. They look nicer, that way. Fun fight, though.

nice work guys, but if you do smoething like this again then please look into getting your sabers converted. It costs, but it'd be well worth it. You would get a brighter colour, and none of the blacked out areas on the blade where the LED's shattered

Actually, we use our custom-made sabers, but the movie was made to meet the specifications of the contest we entered: using MR sabers only ;)

Nice Work dudes. Looks like you guys took out a few pixels on your blades in that one. You stole some moves from the battle of Mustafar in Episode III, but otherwise it was cool. Well choreographed...must have taken a lot of time to get it right.

Okay, someone finally did a video with the FX sabers featuring actual swordfighting and editing, instead of four minutes' worth of "watch me twirl my saber in my bedroom."

It looks as though the saber beams were enhanced in post; there's a bit of black outline visible, especially around the green one. I've found that the "screen" key setting works best for glowy light effects, but at any rate, nice job.

Yeah i see what you mean with the lighter weapons, I use broom stick handlebars when i practice, and i use shinai ,kendo sticks when i spar but it does'nt feel the same because the shinai is heaver.
