I am so sorry for your loss. My first child was stillborn when I was 5 1/2 months. He would have been 19 years old this year. The pain never goes away no matter what anyone says. Each year, on May 31st, it feels like it did that day. I'm just glad the nurse gave me the chance to hold him.

@shaznaym, I don't think u overcome a death. To me, that means you "get over it", and THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN; you just learn to accept. I haven't lost a child, so I don't know if that even comes close to losing a parent (I very suddenly lost my mom two years ago). @shaznaym I really wish I could tell you how to overcome the loss. I lost my son (this video isnt of my child only one that I made for someone) 17 months ago and it is still hard, not has hard as it was in the beginning but its still hard. I still think of my son everyday and celebrate him every month on the 14th (the day he was born still) The only advice I can give you is to surround yourself with supportive people. Find groups in real life and online to help with your grieving.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.I lost my son Justin Lee. He was 21 weeks and 456gm. that was approx. 22 years ago. Neonatal medicine has evolved to save these micro premies. I was told they could not do anything for my son. He was born alive but just couldn't breath. I and my family were devastated and we held him until the end. I was also angry and begged the medical staff to help him but they could not. The technology did not exist in the mid 80's. I think of him daily and will til I die.

I am so sorry for your loss and i guess you must get so annoyed at people saying that because they don't understand what your going through, you are very strong people. Im a strong believer that god only gives you what he knows you can handle. stay strong. i hope you have a blessed future and you are never put through anything like this again.
