@wolfeusfowl Every other co. can beat Kanbei. Sure, his troups are really strong but the are so expensive. When Kanbei has just deployed his new Mid Tank, his enemy has most likely already a Neotank. Transporter Units are more expensive too. Thats a great flaw. Kanbei is at big maps mostly the one that reaches far away Factorys at last. The only maps where Kanbei is really OP are Predeployed maps.

@Chokoboh That might be true, but you forgot that Kanbei is practically spoiled over the power of his units. His Mid tanks could easily take out the other units' neotank with his own Mid tank. His Power meters reaches all the way to 130% so it could easily counterfeit the opponents Neotank. Though it all mainly depends on who is the opposing Co

@wolfeusfowl 130% Firepower and Defense in AW2. In AWDS its only 120% for both. Sami and Eagle are really good in Taking over the enemies HQ, Grit can take Kanbeis strong, but few tanks with Rockets out. So I would say, it depends on the map which CO is better.

@Chokoboh You also seem to forget his 90% boost in defense as well. With that he can practicaly withstand craploads of attacks. Im not saying that your theory is wrong, but like i said before it all depends on the other opponent. Like if it was Eagle, Colon, Sami, or Drake, then Kanbei could easily defeat their Tanks with ease. Now if it is referred to some others (Im just using examples) like Sterm, Hawk, Max, Jess, and Javier, then it wouldnt be the smartest choice to use Kanbei.

I liked them both to be honest. However the replay-value is greater on the DS since you got more modes to play like survival mode etc. Also the DS version (Dual Strike) you get more perks and specializations such as +% attack, +funds etc for each character. Get them all!

Kanbei vs Colin has long been a classic battle among AW fans, as they are frankly both "uber tier" as far as COs go and have distinctly contrasting powers.

Personally I think it all depends on the map and the individual player strategy, but Kanbei must be willing to play a more defensive game as Colin swarms over the map.

I love Kanbei, but in all seriousness, he's the most broken CO in every AW. The inherent 10% defense boost from Morale Boost coupled with units' native 20% (30% in AW and AW2) makes him nigh indestructible. The 50% boost from Samurai Spirit is damn near overkill in any situation. TL;DR, balancing issues.

( if paired with Sonja )

Random higher damage instead of costs of units - 8%

when i pair sonja and Kanbei i put all money things on sonja and Mistwalker ( counter attack with double firepower is awesome ) with added direct defence +12% and 8% as well as indirect defence +12% makes him a Huge damaging shield
