  • R.I.P. Breve...

  • Poor Breve

  • Badass song. Every time i watch this episode of the Sarah Silverman Program, I cry, or at least get teary eyed. It's so Fucking "Epic Balls".

  • @greentambourine69 lol agreed!

  • I remember. The intro is the same as Nine Inch Nail's The Frail

  • @CaptainMotocycle You're right...I just downloaded it to listen and they are very similar. They kind of create the same mood.

  • Just Breve...

  • Thank you, Sarah Silverman.

    Breve was too beautiful for this world ;[

  • Love this... awesome!!!

  • love this song!!

  • Legend was looking for this everywhere

  • @dagnut LEGEND i was looking for this everywhere ha ha ye sad bastard weird little cunt

  • Epic!

  • Thanks for posting. I had a hell of a time slowing down the credits of the SSP (wow, what an episode. That show isn't supposed to make the tears well up!), but I finally paused it dead on, and caught the song credits. Ask YouTube, and usually you receive. Cool song. I'll definitely look around and see what I can track down. They say the web has hurt the music industry. Definitely true. But actual music lovers should rejoice everyday.

  • Awesome.

  • awesome song, great episode!

  • Best episode so far!

  • why did breeve have to die why god why kill the robot you bastard

  • I absolutely cannot wait till the next album comes out, so I can hear the full song

  • Thanks for the comment, Khaotik1! Just so there's no confusion: this IS the full song "Mk. II Prelude." The new album (out this fall) will have another song called "Mk. II" that is very similar to this song structurally, but is a more upbeat acoustic rock version. Check our channel for a behind-the-scenes look at that song as well as a short audio sample.

    Check the website for more details: MoonrockTheBand . com

    Thanks, and keep listening!

  • @MoonrockVideos I swear I've heard this intro somewhere else before...

  • I heard this song too and was wondering who the artist was! Thanks SSSSSOOOOOOO much! woot! woot! haha :]

  • Lyrics?

  • I'll do you one beter, jman0955: here's the lyrics from "Mk. II" (the song that this is a prelude for). It will be out in the next album in a few months. I'll put it into a couple posts since it exceeds the character limit. Enjoy....

  • Sounds like the sky is falling in.

    They say that this could be the end, and they don't care.

    They're rolling over left and right.

    There is no hope, no hope in sight.

    Our hero will come through,

    Flying the Space Machine (Mk. II).

    Our foes will have no place to hide.

    He'll lead us to salvation,

    And build a stronger nation.

    We'll follow him into the fray.

  • Lyrics Part Two:

    The world has fallen to its knees.

    They say that they have come in peace, but we don't care.

    They think we don't know wrong from right,

    But we sleep soundly every night.

    The time is coming fast,

    When we must fight until the last.

    They will not take away my mind.

  • Lyrics Part Three:

    Our world is slowly turning;

    Our cities falling, burning;

    Our people kneeling down to pray.

    The cloud breaks, lightning crashes;

    The streets fill with their ashes;

    Our righteousness will win the day.

    Youre either with us or against us.

  • @ashhaas Ash i c what u did thur self promoting everywhere very smart move and i know your a part of the band becuase you used the same screen name in a couple of places and ash is a part of your bandalso im just curious how exactly did the sarah silverman program or viacom or whoever contact you for using your like three year old song seeing Last Login: 12/12/2006 on myspace doing a little research?

  • @lemononlime Rob Schrab is a friend of my brother's. I wish I could give you a more useful secret than this, but unfortunately it's just a case of knowing the right person (what else is new). It was especially lucky for us, because we're not very saavy when it comes to this marketing stuff. We all have lives outside the band, and no one is really putting a lot of effort into it (though with this recent publicity, we have started hammering out another album).

  • Yeah, this was very unexpected on that show but it fit the episode so well. The whole episode was unexpected but I enjoyed it. It was sad though, I wanted to laugh but I just ended up feeling bad for the robot.

  • @VetTech08191

    I totally agree. I'm glad this episode went back to Rob Schrab's older style of storytelling. The song fit perfectly during the scene with the robot. (aka, Scud: The Disposable Assassin & Robot Bastard)

  • Thanks for posting this song up! Keep listening.
