And the concerto ends with the very same chord that it all started with. IMO, this concerto is just as good as and in some ways, more exciting than the Beethoven violin concerto. Not only do I believe that this is the best recording of this concerto ever made, but this is one of the greatest recordings of any concerto ever made.

my teacher told me Leonid Kogan never played those one bow stoccatos( where you play those multiple stocatos in one bow)..... it sounds very similar to it though...

He did not control the staccato entirely when he was younger, but I've been told he practiced it during 10 hours a day for like 3 months and he got it, even though I don't think i'm accurate.
