it's great that acclaim ahd the knowledge of the whos who of pidey foes

the end credits are fun also seeing where all the villians ended up, especialy rhino's

I had the snes version and albeit the shitty controls I loved the game to death. It seems like its the better version of the two anyways but both versions graphics look a little too pixelated. But this one you could at least semi understand what the voice is saying in the intro the snes version was muffled out by the instrumental.

HOLY SHIT this game is an exact rip of the X-MEN game for the sega genesis. The sound effects some of the songs even and even the levels they changed some of the backrounds but some they didnt even bother changing.

You're actually 100% right. This game is based on the first X-Men game for the Genesis. I have an early beta ROM that proves it.

A lot of games on the genesis including this one

has horrible bitrate on the music which makes it just sound weird but I had this as a kid I remember when starting it up and saying to myself if they play the intro music for the whole game I'm going to kill myself...
