It's a Baritone Ukulele tuned the same as Standard guitar minus the two Bass Strings. It's generally tuned DGBE. His happens to be a Florentine Cutaway style baritone ukulele. Bushman Ukulele makes/made those.

This is amazing. They have this on another video, perhaps slightly better, but still this is compelling. Who'd have thought "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" would translate so beautifully to ukulele, and across English to German?  I love the UOGB!
