Tak aktivista fakt nejsem, ale když srovnám jaqk kouří tohle, a klasická česká zamračená nebo čmelák, zjišťuju že je to dos velkej rozdíl. za B rozdíl spotřeby a účinnosti. podle kouře to vypadá na dvojtakty(ř.751 a770 má 6tiválec čtyřtakt)ani jako ekológ bych nesměl mít auto na naftu :-D . a ještě azbuku jsem se nikdy neučil.

Don't defame the Fairbanks Morse engines. The old Trainmasters didn't smoke ANYTHING like this, and produced a huge amount of horsepower. Oh, and they started and ran clean.

These big Russian units obviously aren't the old TrainMasters or other domestic Fairbanks-Morse locos of prior recollections, and any prime mover, no matter how well engineered, will run dirty if fuel, maintenance, and other operating factors aren't kept at optimal.

@pennsyr1 These slow-running diesel are probably made by Kolomna. The ex east german "Ludmillas" (DR 132, now DB 232) featured similar engines. They have since been reengined with Caterpillar products.

Diesel, obviously no coal wagons are attached to the rear of the Locomotives.

It is important to remember this model(and variants) has not been in production for about 15 years, 10 years ago(and even today) many were operating without repairs, their equipment is frequently worn out. So when pushed to their limit they can create very much exhaust. Rebuilding them now is pointless, in the next decade they will be replaced.

Судя по сцепке состава и (если я не ошибаюсь) - то на видео запечетлён участок дороги со значсительным перепадом высоты ))) так что - коптилка вполне естественная
