  • when you say that you are doing "round two" does that require a new set of dvds? or do you just start over at the beginning and do them again?

  • @jessorourke9 Yep, round 2 means starting over- no new equipment. That's the beauty of owning the program, one time cost!

  • I'm 5'1 130lbs, I have chronic back pain due to having cancer when I was a baby and a good section of my lower back muscle was taken out with the tumor. My doctor says to minimize the pain I have to lose weight. I just got P90X & I'm starting today, I just needed to really see results.

  • You look amazing! I recently got the P90X program because I want to get fit and healthy. I haven't started it yet because I'm afraid I will not see it through.. I have every excuse in the world~ I'm a single mother of two, I'm always busy, have no time, I'm always tired, I smoke and drink soda...blah blah blah.. But I really want to complete this program, I want to quite my unhealthy habits and live a healthy active life with my children! Your video is very encouraging! Thank you for sharing!

    I share all of your excuses. I am a single mom of 2 and I adopted my 12 year old brother when he was 8. I lost most of what I had worked for in a car accident late aug. 2010 and my mother passed away a short 2 months later...

  • @bsixibnine I quit smoking with the help of champix (one year on the19th) and I started p90x just over a week ago and it is already changing my outlook on life.Turn your excuses into the reasons why you are doing this and you can do it too. (ps this is my go to video when i need the motivation)

  • I am thinking about doing this I have 4 kids after the first two i was happy with how i bounced back but now I have 1yr old twins and am done with babys and want my body back, my oldest has special needs so i have to lift her alot and need my to get in shape for them :) any advice? Think ill start it after the new year.

  • Wow you look amazing! I just had a baby and gained a ton of weight and I am intimidated to do this even just to work out! I am a breast feeding mom and wonder if I can do this kind of training while nursing? I am so sick of being over weight and depressed about it! I think it's great your sharing this w/ everyone it's such an encouragement!

  • you got so fit! im a figure skater, but my rink closed & wont open for at least 2 months(about 6 or 7 total) & ive lost all of my muscle! i saw some p90x stuff & it looked like what i used to do for off ice so im thinking of doing it, but after i saw your results i know i want to do it! im planning on becomming serious about skating when my rink opens back up & this will give me a head start!

    btw did you do classic, lean, or doubles?

  • Hey Lauren. Can you give us some lunch ideas? what do you reccomend and or typicslly eat for lunchs?

  • @MaGiKaLMin I love salads and they can actually be a filling low-carb lunch options if you load them with protein. Use spinach in your salad to get iron and top it with protein such as tuna, salmon, chicken or shrimp. Toss in more fruits and vegetables for extra vitamins & minerals- asparagus, tomatoes, sprouts and avocado, gives healthy fat.

  • @vagassss I always do classic. 4th round- It's SO effective. Weights give you the toned lean muscle you want!

  • Did you follow the diet exactlly or just keep your calories under a certain amount I know eating healthy is a must but sometimes i cant keep up with making every single meal for the p90x program??

  • @rtoca02 I understand! I didn't follow the meals 100%- just the suggested portions. I went for EASY, shakeology once a day, simple meals of whole grains, lean protein, fiber (veggies) and few sugars (fruit) NO dairy... NO alcohol ;) 90 days! You got this!! hit me up on fb k? (knight.lauren)

  • HI, thinking of starting p90x leaN after my baby is born (currently 37 weeks preg). When would you recommend starting considerung everything goes smoothly with birth and labour? Also I noticed you had a few strechmarks.. did they just fade away?........

  • @MissNZgirl1 The stretch marks are battle wounds- they fade BUT never really leave ;) I would say 6 weeks out is the normal dr orders BUT if you feel good 4 weeks out- GO FOR IT! I would love to help, find me on fb (knight.lauren)

  • do you have to be in some sort of shape before you start the P90X program? me and my husband want to start doing it. My uncle already is so that is what made me interrested. My husband walks all day for work, but I am a stay at home mom and I am not in shape at all... I love this video by the way, I have watched a lot of them on youtube and yours is the most inspirational for me.

  • i just started p90x and should i really even do yoga x and the stretches videos and what calender did you follow? what videos did you do or did you just do a random one everyday?

  • @TheNinja4 Yoga is important so make sure you get thru at least 45 min of it... if you need to stop after that, I can't say I did't a few times. It's a long one!

  • @TheNinja4 Yeah, there is a whole plan and guilde- DON"T just do random dvds... your won't the get the results and you will be wasting your time. Follow the plan. It's tested and proven.

  • @TheNinja4 If I may add something, I think the stretch video is a huge component of the whole program. I've been doing it and I can tell you that after a long strech session you feel invigorated and more light if you wanna call it that, just ready to go again. When you're flexible you're less prone to injury and pain in your joints and muscles. I usually do it at least 3 times a week not just once a week. But that's just me. I'd say don't neglect that part of the program. You'll thank yourself.

  • Hi there I am wondering about the strength exercises? I have seen the dvd for chest and back and have been hitting the gym to try and build my strength and fitness to a level that I can do p90x. So far I have lost only 6 pounds and I have watching my diet and my results are changing but I think I am ready to take it up a level now. The thing is I can only do about 6 pushups, and I am wondering how on earth I will get through the entire chest and back routine. Can you give me any advice?

  • @magisana You have to push a little bit out of your comfort zone- push to get 8-9 out then the next week 12-14. every day to a little more, write it down and see how you get stronger!

    I've just got the P90X workout and am starting next week, I just wondered... how many calaories were you taking in? I've been looking around and the advice seems to be not to expect too much weight loss (not surprising when they tell you to eat 2200 calories a day I guess!!) but obviously you've proved that's not the case!! I'm 5ft 4" and 138 so definitely need to melt some lbs off... can you help? How many shakes were you substituting each day?

  • Questions, how tall are you? At day 1 for 165 lbs you look pretty good. I mean I know that was your day 1 and you look fantastic now, but you looked very small for 165 lbs making me assume you are pretty tall. Just curious as I am also tall (5'10) but quite a bit bigger than your day 1. Just hoping to first get to your starting point then maybe I can get results like you. I am doing P90X and drinking shakeology too!

  • @Pathrissia Hey there! I JUST did p90x and shakeology to get my first 90 day results. Since then, over the last year I have done Insanity, Brazil Butt Lift, Turbo Fire and even RevAbs. BUT I keep going back to p90X- the results are too darn good!

  • @lknight85 I am smaller than you (day1) but, my belly is similar! I just started my p90x. Id rather not buy shakeology because i dont want to lose any weight, only get figger and hopefully build some muscles. Also its very expensive, and we dont have it in my country :( thanks for your reply! :D I cant wait till my 60 or 90 days are over!

  • @gskip94 Shakeology was and is the key for me. I have no doubt that my results are because of it. It's WAY easier to lose weight when you nourish your body correctly. FACT- I don't have the time or money to hire a nutritionist or buy all the healthy food and prepare it nor can I even FIND real, healthy- not tampered with sources of real nutrients in this over processed, fast food driven food industry we have here in the USA. Shakeology is the only answer... :) and thanks for the comment!
