dont get a highroller....i know they look really cool, but a friend of mine had the chance to get a highroller that day, or a slash the next week, and he got a highroller....all it has done is break and cause problms....i recogmend getting the traxxas slash...ima 14 year old boy who is routy, and i drive my slash HARD, but i havnt broke anything on it except the shock caps...which they make in alluminum....so like i said i would get the traxxas slash instead and ull save urself a lot of money.

my frend has a traxxas stampede and ther almost identical as in top speed and handeling ecepte the highroller cant pull weelies stock, is longer, and its way lighter. and dont forget thats the highrollers riden on dubbs haha

Differences I see at a glance:

1) shocks are aluminum and better than the 'pede

2) shocks are vertical which makes no sense on an offroad RC.

They seem to have designed the chassis with a sheet of tracing paper.

I think the verical shocks look cool actually...it's supposed to be more scale than any of the other trucks, like the pede.

if you go for performance, forget traxxas and losi 1/10 trucks, go for the 1/8 truggy's and put a mgm compro esc, medusa brushless motor in it and drive it on 2 3s lipo packs from kokam, than you have something good and fast. no discussion possible on that. only then that it's expencive

I also have a Bandit but i had to put a rear end from a b2 on it because the tranny from the bandit sucks. the dampers where gone after one run, so i put the dampers of my losi xx4 on it. now i have a bandit that runs pretty good. but nothing whil win from a associated rc10 B4

thats worth it dude, 110 for a brushless system is cheap. You have no idea. The stampede is unique and to me thats cool. I am the only one of my friends with one and it is stronger than there trucks. I am the only one who can actually drive for 35 minutes without breakage (hard driving). Plus losi shocks suck ass anyways. I would rather have ultra shocks than losi shocks. The only good ones are there 1/8th buggy shocks. Big bores are better anyway.

idk know about losi... they seem to keep trying to copy traxxas, stampedes have been around so long u could build an indestructable one out of 100% aftermarket parts. i had a pede, it kicked ass, i would definetly take a pede over this thing, u want something that has been around long enough to have all kinds of hop ups, like RPM PARTS! my experience has been the exact opposite. ive had a couple losi's and they break at the mention of running them. and the parts arent as easy to get as traxxas (at least locally).im not saying traxxas is the be all end all but losi (since horizon took over) hasnt been the same.

a nitro? electric? guess is doesnt really matter, yeah i bought a hotbodies cyclone 4wd onroad touring car kit in 2006, put like $600 into it, and found that i have nowhere to drive it! it only has 5mm ground clearance, its super nice though, but theres no roads around here smooth enough for it, so it just sits up on top of this cabinet thing, i could easily sell it, it looks like its never been used once, anyway, is that why u dont like the tc3? no super smooth roads?
