Dark Alliance 3 was cancelled, but it was in development when it was. But Chris Taylor has confirmed that Dark Alliance 3 is not in the works, the company does want to create the game, though. Back in 2008, Interplay had issued a list of games in which they want to make sequels, and dark alliance is one of them. Since the first one was done by snowblind studios, the second by black isle studios, they might just have another developer take over. This might just be like Duke Nukem Forever.

@YangBalanceYin no, Drizzt's an unlockable character, he's one to start Hard mode with mostly because his weapons are powerful and starts at a higher level than the original characters

same with Artemis, the 2nd unlockable

@ShadowVampireFTW Because in Champions of Norrath you could import other toons around. So i thought he imported a high level toon into the starting zone. I haven't played either of these games in a very long time and they sort of look alike to me. And thanks for clarifying Drizzt.

@nighthawk1178 yea they were in a dungeon I don't remember where but they are found and you get a cool weapon from the first one you save. The elf gives you a magical staff and the dwarf gives you a magical axe. I don't know what the human gives I’m guessing a magical bow or something.

@Nighthawk1178 They escaped the tower after u find them but they wont join u sadly 4 some reason and in reward 4 saving them they will give u there powerfull weapons depending on WHO u save and u can ONLY get 1 reward from 1 of them and the rest give u nothing and then they run and escape.

There is such an easy way to beat most enemies in this game. Just go around in small circles. They always try to follow you, but they cant hit you. You are usually behind them when going around said circle, and you can hit them.

That being said, I dont remember how well this works for the final fight. It's been a while since ive played it at all.

@0806053 an easyer way is to make sure you have silly amounts of extra healing potions all the time and just tank any boss. But it does kinda take the fun out the game.

Oh the nostalgia that comes from watching this. This game is quite underrated, at least in my opinion, from the puzzles it had, the addictive fighting, and the plot twists.

Funny thing, I didn't figure out how to get Artemis until about 3 year after the game came out. I searched through my junk, plopped it in, and was stuck playing it again for the next couple weeks.

i have both games and they are long but very much worth your time.

on xbox hold down left trigger+right trigger+y+b+a+x+white it will give u money and level u up to ten oh also press those combinations and instead of white press start u can level jump and have invunrebility it works :)

@CorrosiveAcidGaming Not true the company who own the IP for Dark Alliance are still in business. They sold the Fallout IP to Bethesda in like 07/08 for 6 million dollars. Rumour had it that they may make a new dark alliance game but not called Baldurs Gate as somebody else owns that so they cannot use that name.
