  • i use one for cleaning brass to reload

  • YOU SHOULD PUT THE PLASTIC RACK BACK IN

  • isnt there a solution your supposed to add? i guess its optional though.

  • @doc3ACR yea your supposed to use some sort of solution

  • How do you get the water or solution out of the trigger assembly area on a revolver, do you have to take it completely apart? Looks like it works pretty good though

  • @dutchmaster357 it is very hot water so after its done dripping most of it evaporates, but i'll blow air through it and give it a real good cleaning

  • I would leave the plastic insert in the bottom of the cleaner to protect the metal finish of the gun.

  • Thank you for the fast answer to my question, I was thinking in my colt Python 6 inch blue or my wife S & W 617, 6 Inch to S.S. do you think they fit on this machine?.

    Thank you again.

  • @jolufepi naah they will stick out, but just run it twice for the other side

  • @jolufepi Thank you again for your time and info.

  • Which bigger gun you put in to clean? you put another than steiless steels gun's?.

    Thank you .

  • @jolufepi i have put glocks on there, g17 was the largest so far, if something is too big for it i just leave it half submerged, than flip it and do the other side

  • Looks like the Lyman one but cheaper.

  • holy shit dude I gotta get me one of those that gun stayed clean and shiny.

  • I wonder how gun cleaning solvent would of worked instead of water. ???

  • @Deanzsyclone much much better im sure

  • FYI Ultrasonic cleaners don't like: Objects (especially heavy ones) sitting on the bottom on top of the transducers. You should suspend your pieces. And, you should only run them for 10 minute intervals even if they come with a timer that goes to an hour. The transducers only run at one level, full throttle .It's like putting your car on jack stands and throwing a brick on the accelerator. The life span of your unit will be about as long as your car without without letting them rest for a few.

  • @MrKellyk100rs ok cool man thanks good to know

  • If you use a cleaning solution like Micro 90 you might get better results. Ultrasonic cleaners do some amazing work.

  • Wow, I might have to get one of these for my Vaquero.

  • When using water based cleaners, it is highly advisable to add a small amount of detergent to break down the water surface-tension.

  • good video my fellow armed citzen!! good presentation & well spoken

  • @lineedsadragstrip thanks!

  • Does this machine remove fingerprints or serial numbers?

  • @cobrajet11785 not only that it will cook for you afterwards

  • @cobrajetard11785 YES IT DOES RETARD!

  • nice job by the way how do like rossi been looking for a gun for my gf my autos are too big like the look of the rossi but i got mixed reveiws whats your take does it seem dependable thanks austin

  • @austin3538 i'll be straight up man start thinkin bout something else, while i had it i did like it at first, but after shooting it alot and all that started noticing that you get what u pay for, i sold this and got a smith 686.. its inexpensive, but consider something else, check out ruger's or smith's

  • nice job by the way how do like rossi been looking for a gun for my gf my autos are too big like the look of the rossi but i got mixed reveiws whats your take does it seem dependable thanks austin

  • Tipton Metal Magic Rust and Lead Remover Gun Cleaning Cloth will make that cylinder/forcing cone look like new. Nothing works better. $3 bucks at midwayusa.

  • imagine if you used gun cleaner in there instead of water

  • @cbr900rr919 i know right. it might have actually WORKED!!

  • could you fit an ar-15 bolt in there?

  • @Patriot5401 sent me the measurment of it and i'll let u know

  • @Patriot5401 Yes. I bought this same clean, if it's the big one they sell. I could probably fit 5-6 carriers in it.

  • might want to put a matt in the bottom so you dont get stainless on stainless crime {marring}

  • its likelittle gun elves cleaned your gun while you just sat and watched them.

  • @HENDRIX19941 haha i know right

  • vinegar and then dish soap, does the job well!!

  • nice looking cleaner

  • distilled water and simple green mixture and it will do a better job.

  • @clap5 Simple green cannot be used with aluminum, many guns have aluminum parts; In exact order I go; all metal parts go in tub with mineral spirits for a few minutes and scrubbed lightly to remove oils and large debris, dunked in pot of very hot water to remove spirits residue; finish off with Ballistol to protect the metal and get any remaining crud off...I do not own the ultra sonic cleaner but plan on making/ buying one very soon.

  • @CPLBSS88

Extream Simple Green is rated for use on aluminum.

  • @clap5 huh never heard or "extream simple green" thanks for the heads up ill have to chek it out. i like using the least harsh chemical i can get away with.

  • @CPLBSS88

    good luck bro.

  • Scotch bright green pad will take that black stuff off the front real quick.

  • Great Video. For the fouling on the cylinder, try Birchwood-Casey Lead Remover and Polishing Cloth, it works great. For Stainless guns only, it will remove bluing.

  • @jvcamp1926 yea alot of ppl have told me that as well.. looks like im gonna have to check it out.. thanks man!

  • wow you sound just like iraqveteran8888

  • wow you sound just like iraqveteran888

  • Dang, that looks like a sweet unit bro! Thanks for the review man!

  • @skindresser lol naah man got no problem with em

  • now have you used this for brass cleaning? (if you reload) because i got the new cabellas and they are selling these for just that!! but hornady is selling them for $100.

  • @goodnightChesty1775 yea i just put one up for cleaning brass.. i suggest you watch it you will find out the answer

  • @lskw1 lol sorry i saw them and thought "OH SHIT i saw one of those on youtube!"

  • Dennis is an artist for sure! That works great. I wonder how it would do with kerosene in there. Just a thought. Great vid Buddy!

  • @Mr45Bullitt there is like 7 pages of "warning do not do this" I think putting a combustable in there was one of them..lol

  • @lskw1 It's a wonder I'm still alive!! LOL!!!

  • That's pretty cool. I just watched your coin cleaning video and I think cleaning guns is a better use of this this thing. I wonder if it really uses sound waves? Also was wondering how my electric razor cleaning fluid would work, but it's $5 for 10oz's. Good to see you back! :)

  • @robbie574 not sure it might do well...and at that price i prolly wouldn't do it... lol

  • I have a cooper I'll be loading for, and I've been considering snagging an ultrasonic cleaner for my brass. Might snag one. Ultrasonic cleaners get out crud from the necks that can really wear on an expanderball... and with a 100 dollar set of dies I do NOT want that. Nice vid.

  • @Dp908 thanks!

  • lol at 6:14 I thought a bug had landed on my tv. Anyways Good video

  • @jhc194 lol..Thanks!

  • nice one!

u can olso clean u gold, and silver with it?

  • @nofgood4live i'll post another vid of me cleaning regular coins soon

  • @lskw1 Ahh tnx bro!,. will be looking out for that one,.

i know these devises, with out the water in itt

it works on some kinda ultra waves,(or somthing)

  • Glad to see you back brotha. That's a cool little cleaning apparatus! Thanks for sharing!

  • Wow. I had never seen one of those things in action. Very cool. And you're making me want to jump into revolver land again.. Great video brother.

  • @noBuzzkillin haha thanks man.. i did your vid gonna get it posted here hopefully soon.... i might end up re-doing it cause im not sure if i like it my head hasen't been in the game lately

  • @lskw1 Dude, you don't need to do a vid for that thing. You've done plenty. Use it for a while and do a little review of it at some point. Does the LCP fit in it?

  • @noBuzzkillin well im doin the vid for you anyways..lol... yea it fits and more!

  • @lskw1 Haha.. Sounds good to me. I look forward to it.

  • will my beretta 40 fit in that bath? this looks like a really good 3-4 times a year idea... would it be better with solvent in it instead of water? im glad ur back and im watchin

  • @DrHavok1 yea it would all broken down... i need to ask around and see what solvent is best and safe to put in there.. im glad your still wtchin bro!!

  • Do you think this method would effect the finish of a blued gun? I picked up a used .357 that had some major lead fouling. After several barrel cleanings its still there. Just looking for other cleaning options but I don't wanna screw up the finish.

  • @SerialCapitalist well i did my glock and that came out real well with no cause for consern.. this was my second stainless gun and there's no problem there either... but i did my ruger lcp and was a little worried cause some spots looked different.. but i gave it an oil bath and you can't tell.. but its something im going to look into more so i don't ruin wanna my guns

  • Glad to see you/re back! Bout time!!! Love the timelapse :)

Oh, and excuses are like buttholes.....everybody's gottem, and they all STANK!! :P

I mean come on....I'm fulltime and takin classes....LOL

Just givin ya crap bro. Glad all is well with ya :)

  • @rekjavicxxx haha thanks dude.. my full time is way beyond normals ppl overtime..lol.. plus im trying to start a buisness and it takes everything outa me.. im consentrating on making huge lump sum checks instead of pennies on adsense..lol..

  • @lskw1 I hear ya man....if you got that niche or talent, GET IT BRO!

I just know I made nearly as much last month on here as my regular job, so I got reason to hump it on the 'Tube ;)

  • @rekjavicxxx damn dude you must have got itchy finger viewers..lol.. but its cause your vids are bad ass and everybody wants to see what you got next..

  • @lskw1 Well....it still kinda baffles me that people flock to this stuff like they do, but Imma keep tryin to ride this wave....

Hopefully you're gettin a few subs out of it too....??

  • @rekjavicxxx subs roll in pretty steady sometimes.. i just roll the dice every morning and see what happens

  • @lskw1 Heck with rollin the dice, I stack the deck! ;)

  • sorry to diss, bro. but every contact iv'e had with harbour freight has been a nightmare. chicago phnumatic brand tools SUCK. they are shitty'er than any thing made in hong kong. thats probably where this device came from. if you trust harbour freight , be my guest. buy, buy, buy, but i wouldn't buy a pencil from harbour freight knowing what i know now. whats that latin saying let the buyer beware. well they oughta hang that on the door at harbour freihgt.

  • @911mrchevyman i hear ya... don't have nothin for em or againsed em.. was my very first purchase with them. only reason i got it cause it was exactly what i was looking for and the price was good... comperable ones were like 200 some bucks...

  • Harbor Freight for the win.

  • That is a damn good idea!

  • I have the same cleaner, but I don't know that my transducer works as well as yours does. I don't see a cloud of dirt arise from what I'm cleaning when I turn it on. Also, how long did you have the water heating in order to produce bubbles on it. Mine seems to take forever. Could be I got the last unit off the line on a Friday! ;-)

  • @penchant1972 haha yea that or the first one on monday!!...that heater will take about 10 min to get that water pretty warm.. i put slightly warm water in there to start just to give it a chance... i have some guns that didn't release anything and than this one did alot.. so i guess its a flip of a coin

  • I like Harbor Freight, but the one by my house usually has the "e" burned out in their sign. So it looks like ""Harbor Fright Tools" at night. Also, our Burger King's "r" is burned out, so we get our Whoppers (with cheese) from Burge King. Good to see you back!

  • @thebudgetarmory1

Good thing it' snot the other "R" that burned out. You could be goin' down to the Buger King and gettin your Whopper with sneeze.............

  • @yourfacebelowmywaist hahahahah

  • @thebudgetarmory1 haha..gotta love the little things..

  • these things clean coin very well i have heard

  • @curtispa just made a vid of that stay posted

  • I have that same cleaner. If you use water, adding a grease cutting detergent will improve performance. For the best performance use a solvent mixed with an oil. I use Ed's Red which is easy to make and not expensive.

  • @rrl55 i'll look into that.. just found out simple green doesn't do ANYTHING!

  • how far down did you break down your glock? what generation is it?

a vid of the glock would be AWESOME... just sayin :)

    THANKS! great vid!

  • @dizzyarmstrong regular ol glock 27. didn't do the frame cause i got talon grips on there just took the slide all the way down.. worked pretty well with doin that

  • I have the exact same ultrasonic cleaner. I bet if you used just a few drops of dish soap you'd get better results with the carbon build up. I use vinegar, water and dish soap for cases but you have to be very careful to stop the reaction of the vinegar with the cases or they turn purple so I'd be hesitant to try this on an expensive gun... But just warm water and dish soap should be safe.

  • @sxwatson not sure if i even wanna try vinegar it stinks.. just found out simple green doesn't do anything so im guessing dish soap won't either

  • yeah I think that would help a lot in getting the residue out of the hard to reach places, good find, will check out armedlocation, thanks for passing that along to us!

  • @mwig50 thanks for watchin man !

  • look at all the dirt! awesome man..

  • I wonder how improved it would be to use ultrasonic cleaner instead of just water. I use the cleaner when I polish brass in the same unit and it works GREAT. Cleans lots of gun stuff and doesn't have any issues and such.

  • @CTKix i'll try a few different kinds of agents but im gonna ask around cuse i don't wanna use the wrong thing at all.

  • @lskw1

I know there are indeed several.

Harbor freight carries one that I know of (under lock and key, you have to ask for it). But..... from what I've seen, when you ad some sort of cleaning agent, they work INSANELY well.

I'm getting the same machine when I get my next 20% off coupon from them for the same reason - cleaning small parts.

  • @CTKix The company I worked for had a sonic cleaner. There is a detergent that you can buy for the water that makes a world of a diference.

  • I have the same exact ultrasonic cleaner, however use low odor mineral spirits (premium paint thinner type) instead of water and you won't have to use the old gun cleaning kit. Great vid man!

  • @watchingdennis there is no issues using that kinda stuff.. and after your finished you just wipe all that stuff away an oil it?

  • i had a stupid looking grin on my face from when it turned on until it stoped, THAT was awsome!

  • @goodnightChesty1775 haha thanks man.. i was born with a stupid looking grin..lol..

  • nice.

  • what are the positives to using this rather than just thourougly cleaning the gun?

  • @gunsmith93 well, theres that you could automatically clean one gun while you manually clean another, doubling the speed of which you clean your guns.

  • @gunsmith93 cuts down on time.. gets the little junk outa the way

  • i thought about getting one like this for cleaning brass when reloading, but people have mixed feelings about the sonic cleaners...nice job on the time lapse bro, your production quality and editing skills are going up! thumbs up.

  • @barnettzack thanks maa.. yea i was a lil weiry on it.. i have a ton of spend brass i might do that next just to show.. i don't reload or anything myself but it might help a few ppl

  • How good? Pretty, Pretty, Pretty good.

  • @nemtastic hahaha

  • my wife works for a dentist - i think i'll have her bring it home from the office and fill it with hoppes #9.

  • @ODgr33n there you go!!

  • thx for the shout bro yeah revolvers are a pain works great on cosmoline my rossi was covered in it

  • @ARMEDLOCATION no prob man you deserve it

  • cool thanks for the vid..

  • wont make it rust ??

  • @specialformula14 its stainless steel.. plus rust occurs if its in a perpetual state. this is just momentarily, gets dried real well, than an oil bath
