im sorry, i really dont see the difference in eating meat, pig, fish, horse, dolphin, whale or whatever. The only thing i see thats inhumane, is if your killing something, without any food source or gain and not replenishing the source. THEN i dont see the point. The differnce between what we see in getting eggs from chickens or chickens themselves is they are easily replenishable. We eat them , then they are replenished in the farms. Theres no difference, unless the seafood isnt replenished.

This documentary makes me feel like most evils in the world come in mundane form. Cruelty is not just the pet owner who keeps his dog locked up in his vehicle for the whole day. There are, for example, many trillions (literally) of chickens in the world, wheras while numbers of dolphins are not known, its guestimated to be around 1million. So 30,000 of 1 million is a LOT more statistically than 3million of thousands of trillions (one source says 4,500 chickens per person in 'western' world). Furthermore, cows chickens and pigs are not endangered, many dolphin species are.

I understand where you are coming from if we were to hunt and eat them to survive in cold climates but on a commercial scale. Chicken meat should only be consumed really if you have your own or buy free-range or local free-range as the conventional treatment of the living chickens are not humane. There is no humane way of whaling.
