i was at the game too. It was shaking. i agree they need to win the remaining games to make the playoffs. We could use some help from the canuks beating the avs and the oilers losing two or three
dude i know how ya feel only i was at a tourney in chatt but i watched it on tv... it was really good especially considering it was a 5 min PK for us after rads got kicked out then we come down on what was suppose to be one of the best PP in the leage and score
hands down the loudest i have ever heard the building. best momment of the season. such dissapointment with that team. still scratching my head as to why we were one and done.
Too bad I wasn't there for that goal. I did get to hear it get almost as loud though when Fiddler scored the go-ahead goal after Arnott scored almost 1 minute before that.
In a way you are right and in a way you are wrong. The fans that love the team most certainly care, and there are many more fans in Nashville that love this team then there are in Hamilton. But if the rest of the people in Nashville don't step up(we only need a few hundred more of them!) then the whole city will be a disgrace and I will be ashamed to live there. I wont eat, fill my car up, go shopping or anything in Davidson County.
I hope everyone gets used to plays like these, because the Preds are going to be in Nashville for a while (the binding agreement was signed last week between the local group and leipold) and it's only a matter of time before the Preds have a deep run in the playoffs.
the single best meoment in Nashville Arena history. Either that or the game tier (ty-er?) in game 1. either way, Dumont had both of them. This is the only goal where me and the people who I sit with every game said they got chills. Video can't explain how loud that building was. Concession people said food was shaking and cups were knocked over.
regular season and playoffs combined, the preds outscored the sharks 28-24 this season. i really wish the preds rash of injuries hadn't taken a toll, we're a much stronger team than the world saw in the first round.
dumont rocks it...go preds !!!!

I was there when he scored that goal. The arena was literally shaking. I'm just worried that this year the Preds wont make the playoffs.

Years later, still the loudest I've ever heard the building. Everyone was so pissed off after the penalties.

Too bad the preds are almost certinly going to lose timmonen and maybe ven paul kariya=0.
dmxhtp 4 years ago
timonen isn't going anywhere and trotz is probably coming back which greatly increases the odds of kariya staying.
