  • "What does this mean?? Cliff Richards left the USA. Tom Jones finally gave up after ten years in Las Vegas! Engelbert too. The Beatles beat you at your own game, and Mick Jagger brought you down with shame! There is so little telent in the USA, today! I wonder just how much longer you can keep up this lunacy?? Tell me, You Tube?? tell me, you poor suckers: Just what do you have left in the USA, that was born with talent in the USA????"

  • He's even better than I remembered him from the 60s, such a veratile and great voice. Thanks. Alf

  • It was interesting to listen to my favorite Buddy Holly song crooned by someone else. Nicely done PJ, as always.

  • Just beautiful. This is my favorite Buddy Holly song.

  • Really interesting! This guy can sing anything--and well!

  • amazing voice a legend

  • Amazing what PJ can do....

  • PJ Proby does some very good renditions of songs from legendary performers.

  • @johncaves And of course he himself is a Legendary Performer! Thankfully still around & singing better than ever!

  • I can hear it again and again...

  • PJ Proby is one of the most interesting stories in the world of music. The voice, the versatility, the longevity make him a true legend.

  • P. J. Proby...the greatest unsung singer singing.

  • P.J. Proby as Buddy Holly. He's simply fantastic.

  • I have a song on tape which was a mystery for awhile, but it's been unearthed that it is P.J. singing. It's IN MY DREAMS. People thought it was Elvis. It was written by James Marcus Smith, P.J.'s real name. Rick Nelson covered it on an LP and I just recently Nelson's vocal and replaced it with mine on singsnap. Check it out under joelbud66 under the title: IN MY DREAMS. Also; Didn't P.J. do Don't Cry For Christmas on the U.K. Sun label? Thanks, J. Scibetta.

  • SMASHING VERSION TAKEN FROM SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY CD BY PJ ALSO THAT'LL BE THE DAY, PEGGY SUE, NOT FADE AWAY AND HEARTBEAT ON THE SAME CD ALL SUNG TO PERFECTION BY PJ. A MUST OF A CD FOR PJ AND HOLLY FANS ALIKE.

IF YOU'VE LOGGED ON AS A BUDDY HOLLY FAN - GO SEE PJ ON HIS SPRING TOUR AND BE AMAZED AT THIS MAN'S TALENT. HE IS A "LIVING LEGEND"!!

    Sue.
