The disadvantages is that they crack pretty easily if you're a hard-hitter. My friend is a hard-hitter and he's owned the 18" and he's already broken it twice and his hitting technique is correct.
Z3 are durable. Although i don't know how long they last, i'm sure that they can take quite a beating :)
@xXMATTxESCAPISTXx i got an oriental china and the sound is amazing. but i had a little cut in it 6 months ago and zildjian replaced it. but now it's broke again. so if you're a hard hitter i would recommend z3 :)
@xXMATTxESCAPISTXx idk dude cause the i have the oriental and i've played that thing for 4 plus years and i play anything from jazz to lamb of god and i love it. BTW never had cracks keyholing, anything.
I think grindcore when I hear this china.

Is it good for breakdowns?

beautiful, high pitch and that distinct metal china feel much better than the 20" and the ultra hammered line

Is this cymbal durable?
The Zildjian website says that this china is thin and im a hard-hitter... I know that Z3 is durable as hell but i'm worried about the china.

Good, trashy china! Anyone else notice that it has shorter sustain in the second demonstration?

@WorstCaseScenarioWCS It depends. I personally prefer the Oriental China Trash...

Do the world a favor, and quit drumming. Why do you have the cymbal upside down?
Oh, and you're a terrible player too.
