More graphics power never hurts, want the best FPS you can get.

For a lot of games maybe a little overkill. Depends on the games and the system.

@joeysbomb perhaps you didn't disable the old graphic card or AVG from the device manager (I know, even if the old graphic card is not attached to the pc, you still have to disable it from the device manager or it's driver will conflict with the driver for the new graphic card)

Also, your power supply needs to supply a minimum of 450 watts to the pc to run this graphic card.

good video, but the most demanding place for the GPU is the cities at the end of the game, I can run the whole game without problems on my GeeForce 9500GT, but when I come to the end of the game and put all settings to minimum it still takes up to 10 seconds for damage to register (the attack animation playes and after up to 10 seconds the damage shows)

well, dunno about motherboard but why do you need 8GB ram? i use 2GB high quality fast ram and had never had any problems :) you have to keep in mind that if the ram is fast you dont need that much :D , and yea the 310 will hold 2 ;D ;P

hey, im using Amd Phenom II 550BE, i unlocked it to 4 cores, so yea i recommend that cpu if you are on a budget :) otherwise there are better cpu`s on the market.

Thanks for the reply. I find that the 4650 struggles on the higher resolutions. Anything below 1650x1050 looks like crap on my monitor. The 5770 it is then :)

question: does AA really make a difference if you're using resolutions of 1900 and higher? coz i've heard it several times that if you're using 1900 res and higheryou should turn AA off. TIA and happy new year! :D

@cebukitty yes it does make a difference it looks alot better i think. the performance gets slower thats why some advise to turn aa off :)

turning of AA on high resolutions is only invisible on a large TV. then you are further away and you can see the jagged edges a little less.

on smal HD screens(like 22inch monitors) its almost the same. for other screens the difference is quite noticable

Its similar to 1680x1050 with 2XAA, except way better.
