  • How do you post links? I've reviewed this in full, users view, one more try ::

    h xx ps://plus.google.com/u/0/112846825533576232802/posts/1oocpUdcTtb

  • @essjayar PS if you cant get the link to work find me on google+... Stuart Reid, or Google Profiles, or whatever. Might even link from my username here knowing google lol.

  • @essjayar You can't, I can't even post URLs on my own comment. If you throw in my name (FLSUPERSTORE) as a source in the states I will post it first on this Youtube video. You could even post your favorite place to get them in the UK(If there is such a place). I could deal with that.

  • @essjayar By the way. Great review, it was spot on. I'm sure they will keep expanding this tablet through the software. Ice Cream Sandwich beta will be ready in a week. I'm in direct contact with their software developer.

  • Emulators, lots. Android market is packed. Tablet specific news apps etc are great, id recommend a launcher like ADW to increase screen columns and resize stuff. See next post, google+ link, (xx to tt eg h tt p)

  • Mali is fine for Gfx, Chainfire can emulate PowerVR, Tegra etc. Trouble is... that resistive screen will only register 1 or 2 if you're lucky presses. USB + Bluetooth could give you keyboard/gamepad I guess, but not tried.

The C91 is the one to go for, not much more. Its real multitouch.

Dual-Core models are already out. Usually Arm8 based. The next bunch of chinese clones will be tegra-2 type copies. Theres retina-type screens around too. You get what you pay for, just avoid real old stuff :)

  • @essjayar One more thing... my version runs Cyanogen as its Gingerbread, Honeycomb is out tho I think. And this A9 is 800mhz single core, unless you bend the truth to say 1ghz meaning bus speed and dual-core meaning GPU+CPU :D I've got this model, wish I had another, but that's the same whatever you buy. Things will move on fast lol.

  • @essjayar I'm sure future revisions will have it clocked at 1Ghz. It uses Amlogic A9 chip and if you look at the description you will see it is up to 1Ghz. I'm sure it is all software related at this time. It runs very fast though so those numbers can be misleading. The WM8650 runs at 800Mhz but it is 1/8th the speed of the Cortex A9 AML8726-M AMlogic chip. I have other tablets in the office here runniing the same chip at 1Ghz.

  • @essjayar The Tegra 2 type copies are still a little overpriced. I could offer them at $379.99, but people can pick up refurbished big named pads at that price and even though mine are NEW they would probably pick the commercial Tegra 2 pads used instead of mine new. I'm thinking if/when we can offer them at $329.99 we will carry them. I have one right now running Honecomb and it is super-fast plays a lot of games. Even have the Playstation Emulator on it.

  • and is the resistive screen real noticeable? need to know so a quick response is appreciated! thanks!

  • @RicerEater1978 For a resistive screen it is not very noticeable. It is also pretty responsive.

  • @FLSuperstore alright, thanks. looking to get a cheap but good tab for my 11 year old sister. shes been very interested in them but starting off on an xoom or galaxy tab is just out of the question. might have a look at some of your other products though, im really wanting at least a dual core. thanks again

  • @RicerEater1978 These are good tablets to start with I think. We have Dual Core tablets but they start at $360ish and we don't have them up yet. The affordable tablets sell better and are almost as good as the dual cores for half the money.

  • the cortex a9 is a dual core, correct?

  • @RicerEater1978 The processor is an AML8726-M I think it is single core, but it performs very well as you can see at the end the 3D golf game is pretty quick.
