  • She does get treated with respect like wow

  • She doesn't know my foot she does no she's trying her best to work things out even her own step dad is trying to help her by trying to be there and go out and do teenager things together

  • It's called a library go look up a book on Sign Language and read the hole book

  • I like Melissa's hair in this video

  • did the mother give birth to all 3?

  • i feel bad for the oldest kid.

  • Ive never had a good relation ship with my dad. I've haven't had one at all actually. When Melissa and Kip hugged it made me cry. I am very happy that they sorted things out.

  • Super glue them to the bed :D

  • Oh screw off with these 'poor melissa' comments..She does not have that much responsibility

  • Melissa....your f*ing awsome sweetie :O)

  • Wow those kids are real assholes.

  • Okay, Melissa's problem is settled. Now for the brats... *glares mentally*

  • Melissa, you're such a poor thing... I hope you're better now? Well, if not, you can always call for Joe again if you run out of ideas on how to control the kids!

  • oh gosh this made me cry!!!

  • You are such a good lady ''Malissa''

  • That's harsh taking the rest of the family out to eat when one person is at work :/

  • @LeoDeGrand my life..

  • not joking or anything but when they're signing they move their mouths but it's completely different from the interpreter.. they're deaf but it looks like they're trying to speak another language O.o

  • @YoYoItBeJane it is. ASL as it's own grammar. For "I am not going to the store because I'm broke." You would actually sign "Store I go not, why? money none.", with the aproppriate facial expressions. And for "What is your name?" You would actually sign "You name what?" With the correct facial expressions.

  • Awwwwwwww

  • I wanna feel you melissa

  • what`s camera is this? 6:50

  • @iTorsvik

    .. I don't understand what your asking?

  • Oh God there's nothing a good hard smack wouldn't solve. If she bawls throw her in the Dumpster.

  • @taylorswift091196 and traumatize her for life?

  • @JrockLoverYuu well at least that would stop her from being a little bitch and thinking everyone else owes her something.

  • I keep Melissa in my prayers of her well-being

    ~Peace 

  • Fernie Rod reminds me of Jo Frost

  • Poor Melissa. She deserves respect, especially with her parents.

  • wow.... Melissa cursed her mom out(poor family)may god help u

  • awwhhh my heart goes for melissa poor beautifull girl :(

  • I don't believe the mother didn't not know how her daughter felt. I think she just didn't care I'm sure the girl has told her before she just didn't listen. The girl feels like this is just an old song and dance.

  • @kalara75 of course she didn't listen, she's deaf

    sorry sorry, bad joke ._.

  • uhhh i shouldn't have NOT watch this at 1:30 am .. I hate crying before going to bed.

  • Melissa, poor girl.... I bet the stress has affected her in multiple ways

  • Come on, Dororthy and Kip, Melissa needs some respect.

  • I love how Melissa and Kip are building a relationship. That is so important since he's the stepdad and she's the stepdaughter. And it is SO GREAT that the kids are learning ASL! I think that that was a big part of the kids' behavior problems. They're parents just couldn't communicate with them.

  • I loved when Melissa and Kip made up. And when Melissa told Kip that she loved him, it made me want to cry! Aw :) It totally melted my heart :)

  • you know that this is a REALITY show so its all just staged

at least in germany it is like that

  • @Dubberware no it is NOT.

  • @hotcat70 i said its that way in GERMANY dunno how it is in england but at my home its all just a big blunder

  • you know that this is a REALITY show so its all just staged

  • i cried

  • Jo is like Nanny McPhee; without the magic cane. :)

  • why bothering by rules and waste money on monitor phones and shit ,BEAT UR CHILDREN, it works just a hard slap they would shut the fuck up or a yell and trust me it doesnt hurt in the future as some people say, Note: iwas raised like that and we had no problems

  • @angryXJOKER the thing is that it's ILLEGAL in many countries. Also, some parents take it too far and the kids get traumatized or even hurt.

  • @angryXJOKER creates soooo many probelms later in life. abusive childhoods create messed up adults

  • @cinnabunny33 igot beaten up from them idont think that there is something wrong with me and idont haver any problems with my arents hitting me wherenever ido anything wrong and im and by the way im from the usa

  • @cinnabunny33 What are you talking about!!! Omg its nothing wrong with spanking them unless u use a knife r something wth did ur parents do and whoever thumbs up on ur comment is dumb.

  • Melissa has ALL the right to get mad!

  • SUPER NANNY IS AWESOME!!!!!

  • i feel bad for Melissa :(

  • POOR MELISSA

  • Supernanny Rules

  • This Episode is Good. And Im Glad that Melissa that she is going to be respected

  • quick question. I'm not slamming deaf poeple. i love them like i would love anybody else. But when they talk, they slurr or messup their words. Is that part of being deaf or are there some who can speak clearly?

once again, not slamming, just curious.

  • @teenpain7 For deaf people, it's really hard to speak clearly, 'cause they don't know how words sound. They can't hear how words are pronounced, so it's really hard to learn the words.

  • @teenpain7 The way these parents talk is actually called "deaf speech". As teenpain7 said, they can't hear the subtle, quiet sounds of our language and they have trouble distinguishing the vowel sounds correctly. If they are profoundly deaf, there aren't any that I know of who speak clearly.

  • yeah i feel bad for melissa

  • no nanny 911 kicks supernanny in the butt

  • i think melissa's really strong for her age. (Y)

  • how the hell can u tell deft people to shut up

  • melissa is very mean show some respect ur mom is deaf thank god am not ur mom

  • I have respect for Melissa.. I'm going to be 18 very soon but not have to put up with 3 young siblings with terrible behavior.. not that I'm rubbing it in to her face or anything but shes so strong with her family and yes she deserves as much respect as possible

  • melissa is an AMAZING woman. i wish there were updates and follow ups.

  • Those bedtime routines, first time, second time, third time, and so on, must be so annoying until the children finally give in. -.-

  • @rachm1991 well there is nothing else that can be done because the kids find the whole ting as a game indicated here when the girls were giggling while being lead back into their room. Once they get bored of the game, then they stop and finally go to bed

  • I think these aint acted, not like the German one LOOL

  • lol everyone's fat there....the mom and dad are fat, the translator, and even the Nanny wahahahahah

  • @MegaFuckyouforever Lmaoooo very very very funny i said the same exact thing

  • This is the best episode of Supernanny...

  • She's lovely and strong, god bless Melissa!

  • Melissa is so sexy

  • poor Kip

  • i cant believe her parents didnt realize the way they were treating melissa. she's only 18, she's never been out with friends ( well maybe once or twice). its like she became the maid / mom

  • @HYDfan99 i no what you meen.. but its hard for the parents but they still shoudnt treat melissa like a third parent

  • Is this the GB or US version?

  • @Leonid122 lol lol lol on you its canadian now isnt that a hoot!

  • i go to high school and used to be in the same class as a girl who was raised by deaf parents and she diddn't turn out like the kids in this video... I guess everyone differs

  • @WHiPCPL you think!!?

  • @cloud4an

    Why?

  • Melissa is cute

  • At that point i would've done the same thing, only i love my parents too much. I bet she comes back after she thinks.

  • I don't blame Melissa for exploding on her parents. I would too if I was trying to tell my parents how I felt and they weren't so much listening to me as well as making excuses.

  • these people need to raise their own goddamn kids, not dumping it on their other daughter.

  • @dramaqueen465 They're deaf you retard.

  • @killetrocitystick just because you are deaf it doesn't mean that you can't take care of your kids. There are blind parents, or handicapped parents that take care of their children.

  • @dramaqueen465 Just because you are deaf does not mean you can't raise your own kids. There are people who are blind or can't walk that raise their children just fun. Of course there are challenges but you can see that they are ruining their daughter's life and also their younger children don't respect them anymore.

  • I really don't want to be funny, but the dad's name is the Dutch word for 'chicken'.. O.o

It's really interesting, this family, I think, even though it must be difficult to learn the signlanguage.. And to use it.

  • I didn't cry but I sure felt a tiny little lightning bolt of sympathy that's for sure.

  • I cried, too...

  • Oh my gosh. I'm crying.

  • i feel for u melissa

  • @middletonsindelaware haha yeah she's a poor girl in a hard position LOL and I'm Melissa too:D

  • I wonder how those kids understand the bedtime stories their parents read to them if they really know that little sign language? Why didn't they already know sign language to begin with?

  • And that's why Jo made this the very first point of discussion at the parents meeting. It should have been done long before then.

  • the daughter wasn't looking at his hands, she was looking at the book

  • oh my,i bursted out of tears when she(melissa) said "cause i love you"...oh,,,such a touching moment...T,T

  • omg same that girl is remarkable it really touched me

  • although i am afraid to admit it i cried when she said she loved him... i think it's because ive been drinking tonight, and yeah im a guy.

  • @45axelh lol....

  • i agree with dietisgreat LOL

  • Oh, I'm so frustrated with these parents. "Melissa should have told us a long time ago", "Melissa should help us with the kids", "Our kids are devils"... etc... Because, you know, they are the parents, who have raised these kids and to whom they are still kids no matter how old or devilish they are.

  • It's amazing Melissa turned out as responsible as she did with parents like these. She's remarkable.

  • What it represents to me is that the parents were responsible enough to use birth control while Melissa was growing up. lol

She's about a decade older than the oldest of her sisters. They had time to teach her proper sign language and dish out proper discipline because they only had one to deal with.

Where along the line the parents became so irresponsible, popping out one kid after another so close in age... and WHY... I have no idea.

  • Kip is her step dad. He's only been with the mother about 9 years. They say so in the episode. And having 3 young kids is not so uncommon.

  • That's because Melissa had a different father.. from divorce/death I don't know, but the father in this episode is her step father. They say that they've been married for about nine years, the oldest is about eight so that would be about right.

  • kip was right him and melissa did need that hug it was so obvious she loves him the way she was so hostile to hm its because she wanted his love

  • this blowup has probably been building for years, that girl needs to get the hell out of there

  • Hey, what's wrong with you? She isn't fat at all. You can't say that because you can see, CLEARLY, that she isn't fat at all. SMH I just wish that you give her more of a positive look, NOT A NEGATIVE ONE!!!

  • Melissa deserves respects. She is only 18.

  • @petermullinvideos *I* wanna cry, i cant IMMAGINE how SHe feels!!

  • @petermullinvideos i know

  • I'm glad that Melissa got her feelings out.

    Better late then never.

  • Aww how sweet and strong is Melissa. I like her personality.

  • poor melissa

  • why don't kids wanna go to bed?

one day they will appreciate SLEEP!

  • lol you have a point

  • i know! I remember being little and getting up at five int he morning to watch cartoons. refusing to take naps. by high school i wanted to LOBBY for a naptime and was happy sleep in til noon. XD

  • yeah me too...and on school days i never used to get up early but on the weekends i was up really early to watch disney cartoons...good times!

  • @JacksVendetta Hi! my name is tash (jack'svendetta Aka jackasswhorevendetta). I'm a closet pedo who makes creepy videos and hates to admit my sexual desires, I have at least 3 or 4 fake accounts like charcleared, omlet munkey.. loves to stalk people on youtube, likes to block people who say anything remotely offensive towards my creepy videos or me 'cause I can't take criticism and it really hurts since truth hurts. No one likes me or my videos so I make fake accounts and subscribe to myself.

  • @JacksVendetta And I still indulge in that kids stuff, since I turned out to be a pedophile who stalks people on the internet. Jackvendetta = P E D O P H I L E

  • how true.!!!!

  • lol it is true!

  • HAHA, very true.

  • Your rite about that lol

  • the trouble is not they are deaf only they just dont know how to raise children! they are lucky to have a daughter like melissa

  • They did need that hug!

    D:

  • supernanny kicks nanny 911's ass!

  • Nanny 911 was a bit shallow. The behavior modification wasn't focused like this.

  • @cloud4an thats for sure!

  • aww this had tears in my eyes it was great to see melissa communicate its so sweet

  • It's MELISSA. That's my name.

  • aaaah, so melissa seems to be the half sister, kip isnt her dad but is the dad of the younger ones. Its the same situation I had, I had to bring up my mums two other kids but it destroyed me.

Im glad they are getting it together now before melissa does go off the rails like I did.

  • I cried when i see this....

  • melissa looks a lot like her mother

  • melissa looks so worn out i feel bad for her

  • Yeah. Wow. Look at 0:16. She looks like she hasn't gotten any sleep in ages.

  • if i was melissa after cussing i would cry and need a hug or something

  • i would hug jo and just cry

  • this so cool

i know asl because my best friend is deaf and i could read what was happening

  • I think Melissa is an adult and she has been an adult for too long to be her mother's child.
