looks like you just got some boards and started nailing them together. thats ok for a small fort, this thing has to handle some abuse. If you made 2' by 1.5' boxes (like 5 of them) and nailed 10' 2x4's on top and bottom that might hold up better. or crap man at least put a runner in the middle so all of you supports are connected some how.
this guys retarded all you have to do for it todry is floip it over and keep it there the way he had it most of the glue dryed in big globs leaving bumps that could make the whole project turnn out bad im not hatin im just sayin
i cant find trex sheets i only find trex for railings for decks where can i can sheets of it an what did you use for your top and where did u get it bro
everytime you ride your box it looks like its about to tip over,
i dont think its your box thats the problem, you need to dig out snow where your box is going, and build around it. shoul have put plywood on the sides so you could build it up
ha ha ha i am so lucky my dad is a carpenter so he is always bring free wood home and some times pvc sheets. if you dont know what that is its a sheet of plastic that you put on top of the box like the one in the video but is made of the plastic in pvc pipes. all i got to do is screw them all togetter. 100%free
I live in Cincinnati, Oh and im trying to decide if its worth it to make some rails/boxes/whatever. because it only snows from Dec.-February but when it snow it snows alot
what kind of material is hdpe, because i see a kind that is like a sheet is that right? also if you could give a link or something that would be sick, and your box looks sick.
that is garbage you just cpoied some one elses video pretty much and the plastc is a retarded idea because it wont be secure in the snow unless you have snow around it and
or maybe this is how they are built, i didnt copy you dumbass and the box is heavy enough it doesnt move sure its a little wobbly because i didnt put plywood on the side and the plastic blocked water from the wood
3:04 it doesn't look very sturdy... put plywood on the sides and use outdoor paint to make it last longer, it acts like it's weather treated that way.
the cheapest solution is linoleum flooring. it works great and it can be dirt cheep. just try to get a smooth design. that's what i am using on my box and its great.
I made a box but i still dont have the top material. Yours looks good and its really inexpensive. can you tell me where you got it and what it is? Thanks nice job btw
i got mine at home depot it was shower wall or somthing just look and ask around just explain to the guy what you are doing and they usually have an idea of what to get you
Hey, i have HDPE on mine and when i went up onto it on an edge instead of my board slipping out from under me it cut into the HDPE... should i wax the box, or does anyone have the same problem?
i think your design could use a little work, its a little wobbly lol, and if anyone is wondering an alternative for the top is puckboard, get 1/4 inch, u should be able to buy a 4 X 8 sheet for around 80$
sick, maybe you guys could give me some advice on something. im trying to build a jib in my backyard and im plannin on using carpet for the takeoff and landing like a lowgrade plush one that wen u get it wet u could slide easy any suggestions?
