  • This video gets lucky. The glitch is easily reproduced as follows:

    1. In dark world move against the cliff and warp

    2. Move out of the warp field to the right, charge your sword and tap backwards towards the warp field

    3. Link will enter dark world and get forced back to light world

    4. while still in the warp field with link flashing, tap ONCE to slightly shift link's position to the right then wait for him to warp back to dark world.

    5. Profit.

  • "The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past Glitch" (the latest zelda movie)

almost the same glitch but I'm in the other world, and I jump down from another place ;)

  • easily the best game EVER :P

  • Okay i am luciapinkpearl11's sister and i say it doesn't work if, and only if, You go toward the portal either facing toward it or if you go through the middle. You hold down B on GBA version, and head toward the corner so you are as far away from the middle as possible. Then, you have to hold down the > button as soon as everything goes white. It may take a couple of tries, but it should work. I'm not sure about SNES version, though, cause i do not have it.

  • @Luciapinkpearl11 No it works fine on GBA without doing any of that stuff.

  • does not exactly work for me.

  • I did it and when i try to jump off the cliff, it doe that portal thing back so i can't. >.> anyone know what i did wrong, P.S i have th GBA one. I fail this is drving me crazyyy!

  • @mp3me14 first start by getting as close to the edge as you can, then warp to light world. Move a very tiny space to the right so your shield sticks out of the portal. If you warp back to the dark world without getting automatically sent back to the light world, continue from the beginning of this video.

  • the best game for snes is earthbound , then this one ^^

  • This is GBA version, and no, GBA and SNES version aren't the same, but many things are. GBA version is much more glitchy.

  • @Xelights If you try using GBA glitches on the SNES version, it usually has a different effect, like Link freezing up.

  • I can do the Death Mountain glitch. I can do that so?

  • how come in Link To The Past i dont have link voice sounds??

  • @legomario If you have the SNES version, there are no voices. It's better that way, if you ask me.

  • I didn't think he made those noises in SNES version, but the GBA version? the 'Yah!" when swinging? I think this is emulator fraud. FAIL.

  • @downscale Nope, it's real, I swear kuz I have GBA version myself. The ONLY TIME you hear the voice on SNES is when you get hit, and even then it's all rough and muffled like they're trying hard to keep you from ever hearing him.

  • WHOA

  • thats awesome

  • Yeah, I tried it out after watching this video half a year ago and did it.

Took me a good while to get it right though. (After not playing the game for several years)

  • is the gba version of this zelda the same as the snes? its an awesome game.

  • @bonnes876 Yes except the Save and Quit underground glitch doesn't work on GBA. On GBA, you use that weird mirror thing that makes you freeze up on SNES.

  • It would be great if you could do this while in "Mr.Bunny" form. :D

  • you actually can

  • That's a classic speed run glitch called the Death Mountain Descent. It allows the skipping of the third pendant, the master sword, and the first wizard boss.

  • don't be dumb

every game is programmed the same way

  • your just not doing it right

  • easily the best game ever made for SNES

  • easily the best game ever MADE :D

  • awesome. this games rockks, i remember playing it back when I was a kid.

  • can this be done on a super nes?

  • Yes, it can. I tried it, ad it works.

  • woa thats cool. i am going to try this.

  • wtf?

  • im going to try this! :)

  • does this work in the snes version (lol that sounds really stupid doesnt it?)

  • why is links ostue like that(instead of green)

  • You unlock different outfits

first you have green, then blue and then red

blue gives u more defense than green and red even more

  • for fashion, blue looks the best ^^ but i prefer red for those that are not very good when fighting bosses, especially Ganon.

  • You will get a new costume when you reach Dungeon 5 in dark world and in Ganons tower

  • how is this for the SNES? the one i have Link doesnt sound like that.

  • i think its the gba version where they give link a voice, you can also tell because the audio is worse in this

  • He sounds like that cuz its GBA verision..

  • @BlackAngels6398 In SNES you only hear his voice when he gets hit by an enemy.

  • hey how i can get that golden shield

  • its called the mirror shield, you get it from the 7th dark world dungeon, Turtle Rock.

  • 0h thanks

  • thanks and thanks SamusRox

  • nice!

  • Niiiiice you rok

  • The video is from GBA game

  • @Linkenfant You can tell kuz of the warp sound

  • I miss this game i use to play it all the time

  • @soulfulheart81 You can play it online on vizzed.com. You'll need Vizzed plugin to play.

  • this is cool...

  • It's glitch city...for Zelda!!!

  • can you do that on the VC version?

  • i remember this... i think if you make him jump into the water instead of the cliff, when u change screens it keeps scrolling forever.

  • @Matt23488 Yeah there's a half piece of screen clinging to that one. Sometimes it doesn't scroll forever, but just scrolls half one time.

  • This glitch does work...I remember pulling this off on the Snes version

  • Just tried this like mad on SNES. Didn't work

  • oh yes it works

u first have to go right 1 pixel and then change back and do that again

    i've done that :)

  • Totally does. I did it on the SNES, Virtual Console and the GBA.

He forgot to show a crucial part, which is you push yourself up against the wall in the dark world, then warp to the light world, tap the control pad to the right very lightly, but enough to move you over a bit, so you are on the ledge, but you don't get warped back. THEN you do what he did.

  • Man, I can't believe they didn't take this glitch out of the GBA version...it's crazy! Silly Nintendo, Rrix are for ORIGNALS, not re-makes. o.o;;

  • You can use this before you go to Agahnim or get the third pendant. Get the Moon Pearl then do this glitch on Death Mountain. You can get everything but one Piece of Heart without being Agahnim and beat the game. Yes, this works on GBA.

  • Dude, you totally fucked up the game.

  • Whoa!!!!!! This is my video!!!! I submitted this video on a zelda forum and it was a link to a long download site. Crazy =O!

  • lol yeah you will be in darkworld as a helpless bunny

  • lol, i always wanted to go there

  • he has the red armour on

  • WHY IS LINK'S HAIR PURPLE IN THIS GAME?

  • its not....

  • yeah, does this work on GBA?

  • This was awesome. Thank you for sharing!

  • congrats you found a pointless glitch but props for finding it.

  • How bout you try that glitch when you first get to death moutain and see how pointless it is

  • i used to play zelda, but i cannot remember, where the advantage might be :/

  • yeah shut up, im not see'n your big glitch find you whore

  • @firstrike It is absolutely not pointless. With this method you are able to get places earlier than you should be able to.

  • he was pllaying GBA ver.

  • thats pretty sweet

  • does it work on GBA ? i have tried it like 10000 times now. but i doesn't work.

  • @glenn7919 Yes it does. What this video doesn't show is the full steps to this. Start at the edge of the ledge in the Dark World. Now warp to Light World. Move to the right one pixel. Only the shield should stick out. Now warp to the light world. Here, begin from the start of the video and you'll be far enough into the ledge to jump down.

P.S. This actually IS the GBA the video's doing it on.

  • how do you do it? im trying like crazy!

  • ya i did that glitch too.i like the water after you do it it looks awesome

  • @ZeldaFreakGlitcha When you get to the screen with the ledge, use the mirror on the ledge twice, to light world and back to dark world, and go back up into the above screen. The lava has now stopped flowing in the mountain.

  • Nice! I've never seen anyone do glithches where they walk off the stage. 5 stars!
