I think Tekken is awsome cuz almost every character represents a real-life martial arts like Karate, Muay Thai, Kickbox, Taekwondo etc. Street Fighter is too fictional with all those people with superpowers (sure there are fictional things in Tekken too but not as much). And Mortal Kombat is good, I won't deny that, but there is too much needless gore. If I play a fighting game I don't go for "How can I kill him the most gorey?"

Cuz at ITF I've been told that they don't teach self-defense techniques but in WTF you learn a bunch of counters and grapples which can brake an arm, leg or neck in the beggining of the fight. I learn WTF and I saw ITF fighter before it's not as good as WTF I belive.

I don't say I'm unbeatable with my talents in this Art but I belive I could quickly get the upper hand in a combat situation. At least in my country. People here are talk, rarely you see someone who can back his/her words. For example in America, it would be harder, cuz almost everyone has a gun there so it's hard to take adventage of your fighting skills. Here only police and few people have.

Taekwondo is not a bad martial art, it just depends about how the fighter have been trained and depends on the goal the fighter has. If he only trains TKD for sport, he will not be good for fighting. If he trains for fighting, he will use moves he learns from poomse and concentrate on effective kicks. I trained WTF taekwondo and when I fight, I use a lot more than just kicks. Just look on how well WTF taekwondo is teached in south korea, these guys can fight for sport and for their lifes.

@yeungjin There is a level of toughness that Thai fighters have. Their shins are literally without nerves. Those shins can break quite a few things in one swing.

Those fighters are much better at close range striking, especially when using knees and elbows. But its called mixed martial arts, cuz they usually do more than just Muay Thai or Freestyle. They have to incorporate Boxing, Wrestling and/ or Jiu Jitsu. In MMA you can't just be good at striking

TKD fighters - if they train in dojos - concentrate on speed, technique und hitting points as well as several spin kicks.

They keep scoring in tournaments, but get KO'd easily.

No matter the martial art without a certain amount of dedication it can not be effective on the streets and the biggest flaw in tkd is the fact tkd fighters become to accustomed to the rules of sparing but this is just one guys opinion.

no console steals from the other. It's all based on what the game makers do. Ps3 can handle higher graphics in games and movies than 360. 360 is more user friendly.

If one game looks one way on the ps3 it's going to look exactly the same on the 360, unless the game companies released a lower quality version for a specific console.
