@NintenToast12 Yes that is indeed correct. 4P, 1-VS-3, and 2-VS-2 only, since you can't obtain the other two types until you've cleared Coaster on a certain mode.

I think the Baby Bowser Bunch might've been the inspiration behind the the three colord Koopa Kids from Mario Party 5 & 6. I always like how the GOAL sign looked depending on the difficulty. It's amazing to see how all those coins fit into that little bag ; )

@Cezz624 I don't really know--it depends on what's more important to you.

480i/p resolution instead of 240p is pretty good indeed, and I definitely would get the Virtual Console version if I had the money to throw around. After all, seeing it in crisp, clear 480p on my HDTV is a pretty good thing, even if some textures will look pixelated or blurry, that's just because of direct conversion--It's how they did things on the N64, it's just more noticeable in high-res. It's your choice.

Also, here's another thing to note: If your older games seem to lag a little on your HDTV, even if it's just a bit, a higher 480p resolution and Component cables will eliminate it, usually.

However, my HDTV has no problem with any video source, and has no noticeable lag on any game... But if you can get S-Video Cables for SNES/N64/GameCube, you should try getting them--your games, at least on GC, will look a LOT clearer and SNES/N64 will look less messy...if your HDTV accepts S-Video.

@Cezz624 And finally, well... N64 cartridges have a limited lifespan I think. Who knows when yours could give out? I know that my Mario All-Stars cart doesn't work at all for some reason, and my original Paper Mario and Mario Golf carts didn't ever start up after a point... So if you really want it, maybe you should. Here's another thing, Virtual Console N64 games usually have faster frame rates and don't slow down as much. That's another advantage. However, no Rumble. Just think about it.

@DarkBowser64 I have an S-video cable for my N64 and GCN but it does look kind of messy for the N64, and lags a little! Since I have my Wii hacked, I will get a wad for MP2 and install it. :) I have had my Mario Party 2 cartridge since it first came out, 10 years ago and still works perfectly. :D

@Cezz624 Cool. I wouldn't wish WADs on anyone, though. My friend used a yoshi's story one once, and now he can never get Yoshi's Story off the shop channel ever again, which sucks. He stopped using WADs because they can mess up a Wii for some reason. I just stick to Wii64 or stuff like that, though, or real VC games.

@DarkBowser64 your friend must have used a bad wad. I have had wads of games before and could freely delete it from my wii. And wads are real vc games, well thats what ive heard. you should use wads only if you know what you are doing.

Supposedly, this version of the mini-game is a good example of what it would be like as Baby Bowser (Koopa Kid) if he was playable before Mario Party 5. When 9999 coins are earned, Woody will anounce how cool that is, as well as speak for the game's creators on thanking you for playing so much.

It took me 9 years to beat this, and finally beat it on December 30, 2009 when I was encourage to play again. I beat without any cheats and was stressful.

I also got past 40 in the mecha marathon with no turbo controller. Only my super fast finger clicking.

It took me many times to finally beat the skateboard scamper mini-game. After beating the skateboard scamper, I only had 0 lives and with luck (and computer stupidity) I beat the minigame and just kept winning none stop afterwards.

It's much easier to record from an emulator, though. To record the Classic Console videos I had to use a very roundabout way of recording.

And, once again, I want to be able to play something. If it's too hard, like all of those SMW Hacks, it's not fun. I don't want to save state to save health or anything like that if the game is just ridiculously evil difficulty. I want fun games that I can actually complete normally, you get me?
