It's so incredibly sad that not many people liked Twilight Princess. For me, it was my first game with a big open world and sidequests and everything (I'm only 14). But I know that I'll always remember this game and it it will stay my favorite game 4ever.

Zelda 2 was a solid game. It was what websites would mostly give today an 8 or 8.5 or so. It's the worst (aside from the CD-i ones) because all Zelda games should be in the A or A+ range.

wow imo the one thing nintendo could do to make zelda games better: after beating story, beat it again on a more difficult level that you would unlock.beat it on that difficult level and you get a "sneak peak" of how link lives his life after that.similar to how bungie makes a special cut scene for those who beat halo on legendary.

And TP is propably my favourite one. Because of many reasons. I never cried, while watching the cutscene of a game. But I did, when Midna broke the mirror.

It's just a brilliant game with brilliant characters, especially Midna. She became my favourite Zelda character, even befor Link. I wish there would be a game in which she comes back and gets toghether with Link.... <3

Legend of Zelda gets better for everygame that comes. oot is overrated, that's for sure. It was good when it came. Skysword is a really good game but it lacks what none of the other zelda games have. A really dark and gloomy story that doesnt appear childish, twilight princess is the only game that have provided that.

@TheMikeBase I have to say that Link to the Past was rather glum too. I mean, you had your guardian figure taken out of your life (sort of), evil shadowed over the world as the maidens were offered as sacrifices, and you had a world full of darkness. Maybe it wasn't graphic or dark in the way that TP is but it was defiently of a more gloomy setting than others.

Twilight Princess is probably my favorite Zelda Game because I have so many great memories and so much emotion tied with the characters. I remember dying 5000 times in the sewer(I was SO lost haha, I'm such a fail), freaking out when I saw how big the Hyrule was, and I remember crying when Midna broke the mirror. Before playing this game I had only played Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, so this was my first real Zelda experience. Nintendo had really outdone themeselves here.

The reason I love Zelda games is because of the characters, you get so attached to them. Princess Ruto from Ocarina of time, Tetra, Grandma, and Makar, from Wind Waker, The Bomber Kids, Skull Kid, and Fairys from Majora's Mask, and last and best, Midna.

I know Ocarina of Time is generally the fan favourite, but I don't care, Twilight Princess is sticking as my favourite Zelda game. I came pretty late into the fandom, like in 2009, and my first game was this one. I didn't grow up with Nintendo, apart from the SNES, and now I regret that... I didn't even know much about consoles anyway, I just played what my parents had, and that would be the Playstation.
