what sort of instrument is playing along with the piano? is it a type of saxophone? clarinet? i'm not well versed when it comes to those types of instruments but it sounds like one of those two to me.

@feroth33 Sorry, but it's not an oboe. It's just that the volume isn't mastered, so it's a little distorted. A soprano sax is very distinct. I play jazz in a jazz ensemble and classical in a chamber orchestra, as well as clarinet in a full orchestra. Also, my friend plays oboe herself. It's definitely not an oboe-- in fact, it's rare to see an oboe play jazz, not to mention it's very tricky to get a tone like that on an oboe.
