most people who rent a house are working middle class blue collar people who are trying to shelter their hard earned dollars into a inflation shelter while also providing housing for renting families or roomers. liberal canada has created homelessness by making laws so unfair to middle class landlords in favor of crack heads, rent scammers, thiefs, glue sniffers, violent felons etc that landlords prefer an empty house than have to deal with unfair liberal laws & even police harrassment on them!

Yes the UK need to learn a thing or two in a hurry. It seems that nobody there has any clue about basic economics.
