See, now it becomes sticky. There most definitely WERE weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq. They most definitely weren't being newly manufactured. Here's the thing: Why does it matter? Because President Bush "sold" the war on the premise that they were? That's not true. It was the major emphasis, and the press picked up on it and people who get their information from TV news may have believed that this was the only reason we went there, but that's just not true. There's more to it.

Compared to electrodes, breaking bones, working over testicles with pliers, pulling off fingernails, putting out cigarettes in eyes, forcefully removing digits, inflicting hundreds of shallow yet painful wounds, binding, burning, biting, etc., waterboarding seems pretty modest. I think you misunderstand me. If you look you'll notice the words legitimate and reliable are in quotes. What I'm addressing in these comments is that it really depends on where you look and what you're looking to see whether a source is "credible" or not. Most people will pick a source that agrees with their worldview and run with it. VERY few people do actual research and are even slightly willing to look at things objectively. Politics has become the new religion.

CNN has stated that Obama did TV ads in Florida, that's campaigning and I heard Randi Rhodes say that he never did, that's a LIE right there. Not only did she lie about that, she turned out around and said that Hillary was the one to campaigned in Florida. I'm all for supporting a candidate but EVERYBODY on Air America has yet to criticize Obama for even one thing! I like Al Franken, Bill Maher, Dennis Kucinich.
Hillary went to Florida before the primary for a fund raiser. Obama did not advertise in any Florida TV stations, his ad was on the CNN cable network. Obama took his name off the ballot in Michigan, Hillary did not remove her name, although she promised to do so.
Whether his ad was aired on a network or cable channel that is STILL an ad, love your spin man! That would be like me trying to defend Hillary by saying something like "Yes she did a fundraiser but it was held at a McDonald's and not at some big fancy Four Seasons hotel room." I was so surprised/delighted this week that after smarmy Ken Mehlman"came
out" , the georgeous Stephanie Miller did as well! Though she had successfully
kept her personal life private, she was rendered indignant by the undeserved
sympathy and attention Mehlman was getting. She correctly pointed out all
the policies that he pursued as chairman of the RNC,policies that have hurt
countless LGBT people!
She's awsome, my respect-o meter is off the charts!

When a naive caller calls her up & calls her a hero & thanks her for her brave service she has the gall to say "Thank You" She is a fraud . And yes, the recent torture memo's proved that torture was used on suspected terrorism detainees. It's proof, you can't refute that. See, now it becomes sticky. There most definitely WERE weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq. They most definitely weren't being newly manufactured. Here's the thing: Why does it matter? Because President Bush "sold" the war on the premise that they were? That's not true. It was the major emphasis, and the press picked up on it and people who get their information from TV news may have believed that this was the only reason we went there, but that's just not true. There's more to it.

Compared to electrodes, breaking bones, working over testicles with pliers, pulling off fingernails, putting out cigarettes in eyes, forcefully removing digits, inflicting hundreds of shallow yet painful wounds, binding, burning, biting, etc., waterboarding seems pretty modest. The problem comes when one acts upon a "truth" in a certain fashion and the "truth" turns out to be not so much the truth, but the damage is done. I think you misunderstand me. If you look you'll notice the words legitimate and reliable are in quotes. What I'm addressing in these comments is that it really depends on where you look and what you're looking to see whether a source is "credible" or not. Most people will pick a source that agrees with their worldview and run with it. VERY few people do actual research and are even slightly willing to look at things objectively. Politics has become the new religion.

CNN has stated that Obama did TV ads in Florida, that's campaigning and I heard Randi Rhodes say that he never did, that's a LIE right there. Not only did she lie about that, she turned out around and said that Hillary was the one to campaigned in Florida. I'm all for supporting a candidate but EVERYBODY on Air America has yet to criticize Obama for even one thing! I like Al Franken, Bill Maher, Dennis Kucinich.

Hillary went to Florida before the primary for a fund raiser. Obama did not advertise in any Florida TV stations, his ad was on the CNN cable network. Obama took his name off the ballot in Michigan, Hillary did not remove her name, although she promised to do so.

Rhodes doesn't let anyone who calls in talk, she talks over them and she doesn't know how to debate, she gets upset and hang up on people. Miller thinks she's so funny except she's not. When she was on Larry King, she had a chance to represent the left with intelligent comments but rather she was only cracking stupid one-liners. I listen to Miller and Rhodes almost everyday and so far I can't even give one example of them "criticizing Obama" in any way and let's face it Obama and he campaign has not be perfect either.
