Fred Astaire....terrific dancer, to be sure....not much of a singer, however.

I remember reading that Fred Astaire was very dismissive about his own singing abilities, but I always loved listening him sing these great standards. A good many of them he introduced in his early movies. S'wonderful, Mr. Astaire!

Tom Hanks reminds me a bit of Lemmon. Known for comedy but then, just for a change of pace, wins an Oscar or two for serious roles.

Wow! It's great to see video from this 1972 special,Which was sponsored by the Bell Telephone Company. The soundtrack was put out on a record and I used to listen to that as a kid..This needs to be on DVD
