From 1:36 it sounds like a competition, 2 or more people trying to get their voice be heard over the other. It's beautiful, thank you for sharing this translation with us ^^
@gilesahrun dude.... as i said, this was the 1st time i ever played this series, thus it goes without saying that i had no idea that Qoga ment The End.... I didnt even know that Hymmnos was a made up language... i seriously pray for an Ar Tonelico 4 >.<
@auramaster0 The world is pretty expansive, they could easily do prequels or soemthing, to show how badly humans hosed things up in the earlier games.
@auramaster0 This was supposed to be a trio, I don't think it's continuing. Keep in mind, I'd love it, or at least something that shows the events leading to the games. Or they make it, but it's not available in english. I'm in Canada and it's ridiculously hard to get your hands on a copy and not spend over 100 dollars.
@Gupppo "Yea" does mean the shining power of overflowing love, yes : ) You have to understand not only the history of the word itself, but also the meaning of the letters behind the word as individuals. 'Yea' as a word simply means 'happiness', but the seperate letters are
Y = Light
E = Love
A = Power
The interpretation can be taken differently, but yes, it does mean the shining power of love at it's root. 'Happiness' itself IS a light of love in dark times, no? : )
So i was wondering: since both of the previous Harmonics had another song that sort of ties into it (Harvestasya to Eolia and Salavec Rhaplanca to Frelia) does this one have a song like that too?
@agumon1123 Yes; Akiko Shikata sings for Misha, as well as Lady Cloche from Ar Tonelico II and Saki in Ar Tonelico III as well as singing all of the openings for all three games.
Ugh, my least favorite singing hill's. No offense
ludosfaverus 1 week ago
dunno why, but in my opinion,
i think frelia's singing hill's ( harmonic frelia) is better than two other songs that bears the name "singing hills"...

This song is sooo much epic...
andretatontos 6 months ago
I wish there was a full version of this just like Harmonics Eolia did...
auramaster0 7 months ago
@auramaster0
I believe there is. It's called Ar Ciel Ar Dor. (Frelia has one too, it's called Salavec Rhaplanca)

@StationSquareW I think that was intended? Like, they might be trying to voice both side (refering to the groups in the game) opinion.
auramaster0 7 months ago
@auramaster0 Yeah, I noticed it's intended, just expressing my joy for this song that's all.

Who else thinks of "Also Spake Zarathustra" with that opening?

Happy when i got to play the series for the 1st time.... Sad when i discovered that this was the LAST of the series.... T.T
Ginobi666 10 months ago
@Ginobi666 This is even mentioned in the game title.... Ar tonelico Qoga means literally "The End of the Only Divine Tree" in Hymmnos :/

@Razor7343 A prequel wouldn't be bad, telling a story about Shurelia's time or even the begining of Revytails. =D

@Razor7343 Yep... Showing the events that lead to the infamous Grathonode Inferia for example. That would be nice indeed.
