this contest was fixed. sam the eventual winner had ties to the network since early age and all the advantages of upper class upbringing. there was no way they would allow anyone else to win the network was ready to promote him problem was sam is mediocre singing is poor. charice was the real winner her vocals and stage presence amazes the world
God loves how she sings... that she believes that her talent came from Him thanking Him always.,God sees her hardships and struggles but still able to sing with faith and compassion. .. without boasting, just showing and sharing it to other people.thats why God gave her what she deserves right now

She learns the technique on how to sing like a real diva. She has so much control of her voice and it's so powerful. The way she emote is so professional. I recognize that from other singers that they don't even know what to do with their body on the stage, but charice is just so comfortable to watch.

I 'discovered' Charice a week and a half ago. Now I must force myself to stop watching her videos so I can get some sleep and get up for work. She is fantastic and I am totally hooked.

I was will a group of my European friends yesterday and showed them a bunch of Charice videos before the pre-game shows. They are now 4 new Chasters!
Because of the comments below, I asked them how they would rate her appearance - none of us are Filipino. Charice got a high rating from everyone. Charice is an exotic beauty. Charice has marvelous clear skin, dancing eyes, great hair, perfect nose, cheekbones to die for, & only women want women to be tall. Her petiteness is a plus with guys!

You are correct, people nowadays with plastic surgery can change their looks. I hope Charice won't do anything to alter her looks - teeth or nose etc (like MJ did) Charice looks perfect now as she is. Proper nutrition and exercise , sleep and rest will keep her looking gorgeous!

Ok guys, let's get one thing clear...and I think this pretty much sums up everything. Charice didn't win because of the lack of votes from the people, so ABS had no fault in that. Where the problem lies with ABS is regardless of who wins, they should have seen the talent and harnessed it, and took care of her then...although they are taking care of her now, it's only because she is popular now. But in the end, Charice has a talent that will take her far and wide with a very bright future.
you're right that it's done thru text votes. what saddens me at that time is that our kababayans didn't know that Charice is gem waiting to be found. it took ellen degeneres, oprah winfrey, david foster, etc for her to be recognized worldwide. i'm proud to be pinoy here in teh states, because Charice gave us so much pride to be a Pinoy ( as we've seen her videos). it's a blessing in disguise she didn't win, coz she perfected her craft and proved she is a force to be reckoned with.

no offence but she is way better than bianca...bianca does not have a clear voice when singing and that she struggles when attempting to reach the high notes..while charice did it effortlessly.

Ok guys, let's get one thing clear...and I think this pretty much sums up everything. Charice didn't win because of the lack of votes from the people, so ABS had no fault in that. Where the problem lies with ABS is regardless of who wins, they should have seen the talent and harnessed it, and took care of her then...although they are taking care of her now, it's only because she is popular now. But in the end, Charice has a talent that will take her far and wide with a very bright future.

you're right that it's done thru text votes. what saddens me at that time is that our kababayans didn't know that Charice is gem waiting to be found. it took ellen degeneres, oprah winfrey, david foster, etc for her to be recognized worldwide. i'm proud to be pinoy here in teh states, because Charice gave us so much pride to be a Pinoy ( as we've seen her videos). it's a blessing in disguise she didn't win, coz she perfected her craft and proved she is a force to be reckoned with.
