i don't see anything wrong with letting a 8 year old watch titanic i was 5 when i first saw it now i am 11 and i am obsessed with titanic best movie EVER i mean it was probly just me i love romance i always have i only 11 i have seen lots of rated R love scences in movies. i love kate and leo.
I would never, ever have put her with sam mendes. i dunno, they just dont fit together in my mind. anyway, she's a legend. and he's a phenomenal director.
I wonder if she has watched titanic since and gone 'my god, i was good with leo'

I don't see a problem with letting an 8 year old watch Titanic. I saw it for the first time when I was 9 and the Movie hit theaters when I was 4.
