What's the point of buying all these guns of you're just going to re-sell them? Don't say its cuase you're undecided, is it just for bragging rights, or are you just spoiled? Any smart pistol shooter will get used to one gun and work at it. You're confused bro
I was told when you shoot a round you dont have to let go of the trigger completely. Just release it until you hear that clicking sound and you should be ready for another round.
I think people forget one thing that is very important. And that is, does it fit your hand! I am 6'2" with large hands. And the 92fs does fit me well. If I were to shoot anything smaller, it would not properly fit resulting in a awkward feel. And I like the safety-decocker lever as well. Never did like Sigs, or Taurus. Glocks are good, but did not fit me well. I like Browning high power as well.
Do you regret trading off the M&P9 Compact? I was looking at one, but decided to buy a Taurus 809 Compact, Mainly because it has a hammer, decocker, and ambi mag release.
I am really liking the 809 compact, it's a keeper.
Great pistol, but haven't shot it yet??? I didn't care at all for the Kahr. It jammed several times and was not at all accurate compared to my G26. I'd gladly sacrifice clothing style and comfort for accuracy and skip the smaller Kahr.
Yes sir. $450.00 is an absolutely GREAT deal. I don't think the Kahr is a high round count gun though. I had a .45acp which after some rounds (not) a tremendously amount but the polymer frame was showing quite a bit of wear so I sanded it down a bit & sold it off. Metal against polymer - Metal wins every time. That's why I purchased the Kahr Elite version of the 9mm - Full metal gun & haven't looked backed. You have some great guns there. Sincerely, JAMES.
@RTmiklo I liked it, but was only accurate with it about half the range trips... it's high bore axis and large slide release/takedown lever made it difficult for my hands to get a comfortable grip. I ended up trading it for another 9mm
if I am not mistaken, the reason for the click in the trigger-pull of the Beretta92FS may be caused by it dropping into a half-cocked position. Some people actually carry it that way while on duty or for concealed carry. It allows for more slack, and has less of a distance to travel backwards as opposed to the full double-action pull.
@Xtreme003003001 The Sig doesn't have an external safety, so nothing the user can control. If you care to get technical, I'm sure it has some mechanical devices that the manufacturer deems as a "safety"
Got a 2022 today. I have atwo fine Glocks, ruger, 1911 and several others. I love this sig sauer. It feels good and good quality. I will use the Glock 17 and 22 for target practice and open carry. The 2022 feels like the SigSauer 22lr Mosquito.
@DeathWeaon Stfu, your just mad that you can't even own a bb gun in your country. Also, until you upload a vid showing your ugly shit face, you shouldn't call anyone fat.
how cant u afford both? if you already paid for them why sell them unless ur making payments on the sig but if your not paying for the m&p it isnt costing u anything besides the ammo u send down the barrel
The 92FS was the first semi auto I ever shot, I fired countless rounds in my dads, but when I got a licence to carry, I picked a SIG because I don't like the safty switch on the 92, and IMHO the Sig is a more accurate gun. Military and police uses both, but I rather a SIG. My sig 239 9mm shoots like a damn laser, and the 220 as well, real accurate.
I carry the Sp2022, it's an awesome pistol. I have fired the Beretta 92.( same day i got my Sig ) side by side with the 2022. and while i love the look of the Beretta I would choose the Sig every time because it's all business, just point and shoot, It's smooth action and on target every time you pull the trigger. I could not be happier with this gun....well it would be nice if they would make an internal laser for it.
People show you that it's clear due to training. You always revert to your training, even when you're not in a high stress situation. Now I've done a lot of homework on sidearms before I bought one, from Beretta, to Glock. H&K, to Sig Sauer. I personally found that the Sig Sauer SP 2022 w/ N/S was the best choice for me. I say that because I fired 250 rounds through each gun, and the Sig was the only one that didn't steam pipe, jam, or malfunction. I'm using it for carry and on duty. Best choice
I thought my beretta fs92 was going to be to big to carry as my conceal weapon but with a fobus paddle holster it is secure and close enough to my body that I can carry it unnoticed in almost all clothing scenarios. Have had it for almost 10 years. Great reliable firearm.
I bought a sig p2022 few weeks ago. First time gun owner. Heard alot About it. Shot about 100 rounds. Still getting used to the recoil. But I love the gun, feels great in my hands. And easy to maintain. Just ordered a recoil reducer. Hoping it will get me more used to the recoil.
I own both weapons, and have fired thousands through each. The Beretta beats the sig in every aspect. However, I seem to shoot the Sig a little better-maybe. And the Sig is easier to carry. I carried the 92-FS for a long time on duty. I trusted it with my life. That's all I can say about that.
@flabeachcomber Your opinion is biased because of your service time carrying the 92FS. If you had been issued a SIG you would be biased towards that. Why do you think so many guys get an AR when they leave service? Because they are used to it, not because it's great. I am not saying the Beretta is a bad gun, just not better than the SIG. The reason the military chose it over the SIG P226 is because it was less expensive. When my life is on the line, I don't want the cheap gun I want the better 1
@USFZeus No. Like I said: I've shot both extensively. And I paid way more for the Beretta than the Sig. 2022. The controls on the Beretta are in a better place for me. I now carry a Glock G22 on duty, every day. I'm not a big Glock. My opinion is biased however. Biased from shooting and carrying and shooting a 92FS for about twenty plus years without a single problem. And we are comparing the Beretta 92FS to the Sig 2022. Not the Sig P226.
Damn, when I was on the look for a 9mm this was my top choice, the finest pistol I had tried, very well made. Couldn´t purchase it, I felt it was very big for my hands, and went instead for a S&W 908S. Happy? No, I wish I rather had purchased this one instead, and learn to cope with the "slightly bigger than hand" issue. If you can get your hands on one of these don´t hesitate, a fine weapon, for sure.
I have a sp2022 made in dec. 2010, It has no loaded chamber indicator, and newer grips are newer with lanyard loop. I highly prefer it over the sig p250. The sp2022 has an awesome trigger pull better than the p226 in my opinion, and yes i own a p226. sadly the sp2022 is underrated, bc of its polymer frame, but this is one sig I wil always stay in my gun safe.
Stick with the Beretta. Believe it or not, the Beretta M92 pistol had to go through the XM9 pistol trials in the mid 80s. This is how the M9 officially replaced the 1911 as the current sidearm for the U.S. military. If you want a tough and reliable full-sized 9mm pistol, the Beretta M92FS or M92A1 is the way to go. By the way, I have one and the sights are not off-center. The awesomeness of it tends to throw off your aim sometimes. It's easy to get used to.
Cracks me up everytime I see someone freak out and "clear" their weapon and show us it is clear like 5 times before going on. What do I care if YOUR weapon is clear? The round isn't coming my way.
@pickupmusic At the worst, it helps instill good habits into new shooters. The gun grabbers are so scared of an inanimate object that they'd rather ban them from law-abiding citizens instead of doing something useful like teach gun safety, so kids are forced to learn gun safety on the street.
@fsuboy75 I don't understand why you wouldnt people to promote safe gun practice. Per capita Switzerland has twice as many guns than America but nearly 1/3 of the gun related injuries or deaths. Why is that?
All citizens serve in the military for a number of years and are all taught safe gun practice from an early age.
@wtfdudenotcool101 Promoting gun safety and practicing gun safety are two entirely different things... I don't make it a point in every video to make sure my gun is clear because a) it makes no difference to the one watching, and b) I already have checked it. It's redundent and showing off to appease whiney viewers who carp about such nonsense. Also, firearm injuries are influenced by a lot more things than manditory military service and clear weapons on Youtube.
great video,i have both guns & would be hard pressed to choose 1 to keep & sell the other.beretta is a little heavier.you couldnt go wrong buying either.thanks for the video.
seems like you have some pretty large hands, how is the handle thickness of the sp2022 compared to like a glock 17/19? Or the beretta 92 but i know that handgun for sure has a wide handle for a 9mm
@noobwenchlar Not too sure how to answer this, that's pretty subjective... I will say that the 19/23 feels skinnier along the mag well, though a bit more around the palm. I switched the grip insert on my Sig Pro to the smallest one they offer, and it fits me like a glove.
@noobwenchlar Not too sure how to answer this, that's pretty subjective... I will say that the 19/23 feels skinnier along the mag well, though a bit more around the palm. I switched the grip insert on my Sig Pro to the smallest one they offer, and it fits me like a glove.
@noobwenchlar Depends on the backstrap... the medium backstrap that came with the gun was pretty thick for me, so I went with the small backstrap insert. Now it's very similar to a Glock or any other standard double-stack
@pickupmusic alright, thanks for the info man! great videos too... btw if you're thinking about another carry gun i hear the kel tec pf9 is like a poorman's kahr pm9
@noobwenchlar Thanks... I've shot the PF9, and while lighter and thinner, it was not a fun gun to shoot at all... probably the snappiest recoil of any subcompact 9mm I've handled. It's a good carry gun though, just not very comfortable to shoot.
@mgspw13 They're pretty much the same thing with a few small difference, if I recall correctly... the dust cover, sights, and beavertail are the main differences. I prefer the 2-dot style sights on the M9, but that's the biggest difference. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on those though, I'm not 100% sure.
im thinking about buying a beretta 92fs or sig 2022 in the next few days. and i have been doing some studing up on them. but i cant make up my mind. for target practice and taking as a side arm for hunting and house protection what should i get. i like the quality of the beretta but not so much the price. i found the sig for $400 vs the $550 beretta. so im kinda leaning towards greater accuracy and dependability. what do u recomend. anything helps. btw nice vid
@xXxjoemanxXx The Beretta is a nicer gun... just feels like better quality. I've had no problems with my SP2022 though, and I've put all kinds of ammo through it. Both will be reliable, and "dependable". Stay away from models of the Sig Pro that were built in California, supposedly the way you can tell is looking at the frame. Mine is a triple serial number (slide, frame and barrel) and has been 100% since day one. The Sig also has a rail, so it should be considered if you're putting on a light
i was in the military was deployed to afgahnistan my time spent with the m9/ 92fs was the worst. it is a POS . to heavy the grips width felt bad in hand. i would prefer anything else .
@vladi420 I still had my M&P9c in my rotation, and had a Glock 26 that I used also until I took the Sig and Kahr to the range for break-in... they've been flawless since I bought them, but I generally don't carry anything until I've put a few hundred rounds through them
92FS probably has the click about one-third through double-action mode because it was designed for military use. It's a good aural cue to the shooter that they still have time to assess the threat before firing. Just a thought. For home defense I'm pretty sure I'm going with the 92FS because of that feature (along with dozens more) as well as it's just kick-ass fun to shoot at the range.
@lumberdog100 The video is about a comparison between the M&P9c, Sig Pro, and Beretta... the Kahr was an afterthought, and I only threw it in there to explain why I was selling the M&P9c (because it's a smaller EDC)
want to get one for carry and one to keep in my truck full time. Have been looking at the Sig SP2022 and the S&W M&P 9 you have in your video here. What were the big differences that you could tell, between the 2? The Sig is MUCH bigger and probably much heavier, which I don't like. but if it is a better, more accurate pistol, i would sacrifice. thanks for any help... those Kahr's are expensive
@dawgggystyle The sig is bigger, but not all that much heavier... and has night sights, DA/SA, holds three more rounds than the compact M&P, longer sight radius, and recoil is a bit more managable for me. I'd love to get a full size M&P9, I sold the M&P9c and miss it a lot. It's a tough one, but the Sig Pro is a lot of gun for the money and very accurate. I did shoot my brother's 92fs, and it's outstanding! but.... much heavier and not really an option for concealed carry for me.
Yes, the Beretta definately is my "house gun" I think after everything I have seen and read, I am going to get the S&W M&P compact 9. Like you said, you sold it and miss it. It feels really good in the hand when you hold it too.
@gzinga74 Thanks man... after the vid, my brother told me about the feature (I was completely unfamiliar with it). Apparently, it's a safety net in case your finger slips while cocking the hammer, or to half cock and make the DA trigger pull lighter and shorter. Either way, if not engaged, it makes a slow DA pull somewhat annoying but you get used to it I suppose.
@TEXASHEAT45 The Sig Pro is mine, the Beretta is my brothers... I got the Sig Pro to replace the M&P9c, and because it was a good value for a full size polymer framed pistol... Eventually I'd like to spring the cash for a Sig P220 or P226 though
Buyers remorse. Just get a FNX 9 (with ambi controls) and call it a day. It even comes with 3 17rd mags. And its in you're budget criterea

@pickupmusic so not too thick it seems but on the larger size for double stack 9mm
noobwenchlar 1 year ago
@noobwenchlar Depends on the backstrap... the medium backstrap that came with the gun was pretty thick for me, so I went with the small backstrap insert. Now it's very similar to a Glock or any other standard double-stack

@pickupmusic alright, thanks for the info man! great videos too... btw if you're thinking about another carry gun i hear the kel tec pf9 is like a poorman's kahr pm9
noobwenchlar 1 year ago
@noobwenchlar Thanks... I've shot the PF9, and while lighter and thinner, it was not a fun gun to shoot at all... probably the snappiest recoil of any subcompact 9mm I've handled. It's a good carry gun though, just not very comfortable to shoot.

the baretta 92fs is also known as the m9 right?
mgspw13 1 year ago
@mgspw13 They're pretty much the same thing with a few small difference, if I recall correctly... the dust cover, sights, and beavertail are the main differences. I prefer the 2-dot style sights on the M9, but that's the biggest difference. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on those though, I'm not 100% sure.

im thinking about buying a beretta 92fs or sig 2022 in the next few days. and i have been doing some studing up on them. but i cant make up my mind. for target practice and taking as a side arm for hunting and house protection what should i get. i like the quality of the beretta but not so much the price. i found the sig for $400 vs the $550 beretta. so im kinda leaning towards greater accuracy and dependability. what do u recomend. anything helps. btw nice vid
xXxjoemanxXx 1 year ago
@xXxjoemanxXx The Beretta is a nicer gun... just feels like better quality. I've had no problems with my SP2022 though, and I've put all kinds of ammo through it. Both will be reliable, and "dependable". Stay away from models of the Sig Pro that were built in California, supposedly the way you can tell is looking at the frame. Mine is a triple serial number (slide, frame and barrel) and has been 100% since day one. The Sig also has a rail, so it should be considered if you're putting on a light

i was in the military was deployed to afgahnistan my time spent with the m9/ 92fs was the worst. it is a POS . to heavy the grips width felt bad in hand. i would prefer anything else .

you edc a gun you have not shot? are you nuts?
vladi420 1 year ago
@vladi420 I still had my M&P9c in my rotation, and had a Glock 26 that I used also until I took the Sig and Kahr to the range for break-in... they've been flawless since I bought them, but I generally don't carry anything until I've put a few hundred rounds through them

is the guy in the vid the cheerleaders dad from heroes?
kottton123 1 year ago
92FS probably has the click about one-third through double-action mode because it was designed for military use. It's a good aural cue to the shooter that they still have time to assess the threat before firing. Just a thought. For home defense I'm pretty sure I'm going with the 92FS because of that feature (along with dozens more) as well as it's just kick-ass fun to shoot at the range.

The Kahr is a great pistol, but I have'nt shot it yet. WTF
lumberdog100 1 year ago
@lumberdog100 The video is about a comparison between the M&P9c, Sig Pro, and Beretta... the Kahr was an afterthought, and I only threw it in there to explain why I was selling the M&P9c (because it's a smaller EDC)

Thx for sharing your video man! Enjoyed watching it.

Have a Beretta 92fs for my "house gun"
want to get one for carry and one to keep in my truck full time. Have been looking at the Sig SP2022 and the S&W M&P 9 you have in your video here. What were the big differences that you could tell, between the 2? The Sig is MUCH bigger and probably much heavier, which I don't like. but if it is a better, more accurate pistol, i would sacrifice. thanks for any help... those Kahr's are expensive
dawgggystyle 1 year ago
@dawgggystyle The sig is bigger, but not all that much heavier... and has night sights, DA/SA, holds three more rounds than the compact M&P, longer sight radius, and recoil is a bit more managable for me. I'd love to get a full size M&P9, I sold the M&P9c and miss it a lot. It's a tough one, but the Sig Pro is a lot of gun for the money and very accurate. I did shoot my brother's 92fs, and it's outstanding! but.... much heavier and not really an option for concealed carry for me.

@pickupmusic
Yes, the Beretta definately is my "house gun" I think after everything I have seen and read, I am going to get the S&W M&P compact 9. Like you said, you sold it and miss it. It feels really good in the hand when you hold it too.

the click is because you can half cock the gun
gzinga74 1 year ago
@gzinga74 Thanks man... after the vid, my brother told me about the feature (I was completely unfamiliar with it). Apparently, it's a safety net in case your finger slips while cocking the hammer, or to half cock and make the DA trigger pull lighter and shorter. Either way, if not engaged, it makes a slow DA pull somewhat annoying but you get used to it I suppose.

@jesse220whp already sold it to my brother in law. I wish I didn't have to, but I can buy it back once I can afford to do so, it was a fantastic gun

@pickupmusic Dude, why did you let the Kimber go? Was there a problem?
shasha1873 1 year ago
@shasha1873 I had an accidental discharge with it, and could never get that out of my mind... I've since moved to DA or DA/SA guns

TEXASHEAT45 1 year ago
@TEXASHEAT45 The Sig Pro is mine, the Beretta is my brothers... I got the Sig Pro to replace the M&P9c, and because it was a good value for a full size polymer framed pistol... Eventually I'd like to spring the cash for a Sig P220 or P226 though
