Why are there millions of people in the world that constantly say Messi is the best in the world? Yeah he won player of the year, that means nothing. For me, Ronaldo has proven he can be a world class player in 3 leagues in 3 different countries. Messi has been at Barca since he was 13 years old. He hasn't proven himself anywhere else. And lets be honest, apart from Real Madrid and possibly Valencia, there are no other good teams in La liga. Messi needs to prove himself somewhere else first.
