"DROID Does" A hell of alot more than the Iphone. The Iphone is getting old, and that Droid has definately taken its place. I hear people keep stating that the Iphone is better, because of the 94,000 apps. Let me tell ya, half of thoes "94,000 apps", are stupid and pointless. I mean who really uses 94,000 apps on their phone. I might use maybe 10 to 15 at most. When you have a combination of Motorola, Verizon and Goolge, you cant go wrong. DROID ALL THE WAY!!!! @verizonagent32 I know this is 7 Month Old. And now you're information is WRONG! They have 220,000 Apps now. A lot of them not being stupid and or pointless. Especially with the new iPhone 4. The new iPhone is better than the Droid Incredible. The display on the new iPhone is the best out there. And the new iPhone is backed by iOS 4. Which is a pretty incredible software.

But as you previously stated, that comment was 7 months old, therefore the iPhone 4 has not even been revealed and furthermore at that time there were only 94,000 apps. In contrast to that, I have also found a lot of the apps in the android marketplace to be pointless as well. But right now I currently have an HTC Incredible. And I must say, all of the new features that the iOS 4 boasts have already been available on android's platform for over a year with the exception of facetime. Plus the Incredible has a higher MP camera, expandable memory, removable battery and wireless hotspot tethering, available on the new android 2.2. Research before posting please.

I too have an iPad. I too have browsed thousands of pointless apps. You make think their pointless, and I do too. But their is people out their who do not think their pointless. @verizonagent32 Tethering and Multi-Tasking just weren't readily available. They were just a little tricky to get. You must know nothing about how a camera works. I have a lot of knowledge in photography and it does not matter how many megapixels you have!!!! iPhone 4 used the same size pixel as the 3Gs and just added more of them. In term, this means the iPhone added much quality without adding noise or blurring. The new Droid did not. They only shoved more mega-pixels on there. Continued----

@verizonagent32 Also Removable Storage would be nice, but removable storage is also SLOW. iPhone's new battery will smoke every new phone out their for quite a while. Just look at you're iPad and imagine that one a smaller less-power consuming device. My iPad lasts forever. @chargerfun34: I too know about camera's. The iPhone4 does have a 5MP camera and the Incredible has and 8MP camera. But as you stated megapixel does not mean anything if the camera's software does not have good image stabilization and noise reduction. And yes I agree that the iPhone's camera is excellent, but so is the Droid Incredibles. Now the DROID Motorola's camera is absolutely horrible. Both devices have great camera's, but again i do prefer the Incredible's 8MP camera.

@chargerfun34: The Incredible does have and internal 8GB SSD but is expandable up to 40GB. Removable Storage is only as fast as the speed of the card you install into the device. If you install as slower, less expensive card then the data transmission rates are going to be considerably slower. But if you shell out about $200 for a high speed card then you will greatly improve your transmission rate, therefore making the device perform faster.

@chargerfun34: I completely agree with you, The battery life on the iPad as well as the iPhone is unbelievably outstanding. But I had the first gen iPhone years ago, and ended up having to send it back twice to have the battery replaced which is quite an inconvenience. Apple would benefit by making the battery removable. Now if I have a battery issue all i have to do is snap the back off and take the battery out and install a new one.

I am in no way meaning to sound rude or disrespectful, but your opinion seams to be bias. I do prefer to have an Android powered mobile phone, but I also love apple products as well, as i mentioned previously, I am an iPad user and you probably couldn't pry it from my cold dead fingers...LOL. I use both platforms but for my mobile device, again I prefer Android's OS especially when running on Verizon's Network.

I don't think you understand the Android market at all. This phone is made by Motorola not Google. Verizon also has another Android phone that is made by HTC that is launching in November also. Sprint also launched an Android phone from HTC called the Hero. By christmas there will be like 20+ Android phones launched worldwide. Android is the operating system.

Well yeah, it is a smart phone and they are constantly sending data to the network to check e-mail, recieve texts, and browse the Internet. Verizon's data plan is the same for all smartphones and non-smart phones. 30.00 USD each month added to your bill. I do own an iPhone 3GS and I must say I'm interested by the Droid. AT&T charges 30.00 then an additional 15 for unlimited texting. Texting is included in Verizon's. =/

id say it depends where you are and how the coverage for each network is. but truthfully, from a verizon fan and potential droid buyer, i do think that apples safari web browser is a tiny bit faster. dont get me wrong tho, just because the iphones browers is a tiny bit faster doesnt mean that the droids browser sucks.
