Interesting, I read the comments, and if I may add mine, I find it amusing that the so-called "Christians" on You Tube seem to be the most judgmental. Perhaps I miss read the part in the Bible that says you should not judge, it isn't your job.

I personally had nothing to do with the making of the video? I MADE this video, combining images from before and after the final servicing mission. I also chose the quote by Carl Sagan and chose the music by Benn Jordan. I had a lot to do with this video.

As for my relationship with the Hubble Space Telescope well, lets just say that I've payed a lot of taxes on my US visits and therefore financially contributed. Anyway, thanks for watching.

Actually they did release a planetary image. The first image that the HST team released is one of an impact scar on Jupiter. It is also logical not to aim Hubble towards a planet for one of the first images since we have MESSENGER on Mercury, MRO+rovers on Mars, Cassini on Saturn and New Horizons on its way to Pluto. The Hubble team chose those objects because they illustrate the three main uses for Hubble: clusters, nebulas and galaxies. Check for facts before proposing conspiracy theories.

I have noticed through the years that, when an impressive image from space is shown to a scientifically literate person, he/she will admire our current scientific knowledge. When the same thing is shown to somebody that is ignorant of science, he/she will praise god, since there is no other possible way in which that could have ocurred.
