Eagle Academy of Martial Arts in Warrenville & Aurora Illinois. We call our pattern of moves, Hyungs. They are the same things as Katas, but I believe Katas represent Japanese origin, while Hyungs represent Korean origin.

Are those katas? in our school we don't do katas, so I assumed there were none in hapkido.

This was my Hap Ki Do test. I am a 1st Dan in Tang Soo Do. I wore the Blue belt to represent my Hap Ki Do rank. The Black Belt I receive at the end is my Official Tang Soo Do embroidered belt from my testing in 2008. I do not yet have the results of this current Hap Ki Do testing...
