well done zhang, sportsman like or not, it is another aspect of the game, the mental state, if you can irritate your opponent more than likely you can best him, my younger brother has a very high point but he starts crying about things like net height, tightness, lighting etc. and loses because he lets it bother him, and keeps harping on it while no one else is, either way, i was surprised to see the outcome of this match, thanks again oldochen for posting

Zhang Jike is soo close to ultimate table tennis perfection. He never makes mistakes, has the great technique like Kong Linghui but he has much more power and stronger serve...

How about the fact Ma Lin lost the first game really badly, this almost never happens. I still can't believe he got a result of 0-6 first game, thats extremely upsetting. I expected way more of Ma Lin, he sometimes comes short.

Zhang is just another player, he's not a big deal, and will easily be replaced, so far Ma Lin is a one of a kind.

Cmon, u gotta c his feeling for the ball, extremely rare. Watch his matches against choppers. Compared to the other Chinese guys he puts way less effort in his loops, and they are as hard as the others. But k, being a legend in China IS hard, thats true..

Ok, Im not a big fan of penholders, but I think ryu in his best days and xu xin will b able to compete with ma lin. But idk, i dont watch too much of ma lin. I still completely disagree with Zhang being easily replaced tho.

No way man Ryu, and Xu xin suck, I could beat them, they suck that bad. Besides the statistics show Ma Lin has beaten them quite a lot, and has beaten Wang Hao a decent number of times, that makes him the best.

Plz b real, Ryu won the Olympics 2004, beaten Wang Hao in teh final, Xu's career has hardly started and you cant talk about past results against him now, that wouldnt b fair.

I know Ma Lin is worldclass, but u should b fair, theres not such a thing as a gap between him and other top players

They simply copied him, and are trying their best to not imitate Ma Lin, meanwhile Xu Xin is as new as any other player, but if you wanted to learn how to play penhold correctly your best bet is to imitate Ma Lin like I did, you you'll fail miserably like these others.

Zhang Jikes sportsmanship is the worst among top players i think.Look at his face at 0:57, he is so haughty.And crying about edges i think isnt a bad sportsmanship.Even when Jhang Jike excuses about his net hes doing that like a favor.what about his timeout?

Hes starting to be my favorite player, ive always like michael maze for uniqueness but he didnt win so much, i lliked him causa i use his raquete, but now hes starting to win, and he won againts boll, but zhang is great
