oh theres a way to correct the problem, load a previous save

how it happened:

1) on noveria on an elevator, Tali had fallen behind and wasn't in the elevator when i activated it

2) game caught up to itself by "spawning" Tali in the elevator, directly beneath me

3) this pushed me up on top of the elevator

4) i crouch-walked through a crack and fell down

5) save --> load

6) you see the result

Yep, this is exactly what happened to my friend. Did you find any way to correct the problem?
