  • i hope my cats last moment is happy...

  • YOU SHUT UP YOU STUPID IDIOTS DISLIKING THIS VIDEO! THIS IS SAD TERRIBLY SAD! I LOST MY GRANDMARS CAT AND I KNOW HOW IT FEELS SO SHUT UP!

  • Porn? Xxx?.... You fucking. Bastard... You didn't love your cat you are just a fucking asshole, if I were you I would. Never tag this sad moment like you did.

  • NOOOOOOO!

  • aw. poor kitty. better to sleep before all the pain. why did you tag this as 'porn'? there are perverts that will actually get off on this.

  • How you can say you love??You fucking holy shit!!

If you would have loved you did not put it there.

What a fucking mistake of world you are

  • Tell me tell me dear.......you loved so much your cat??So you choose to film it euthanizing??

I am NOT sorry for your cat, I feel TERRIBLY SORRY...............FOR A MISTAKE OF WORLD AS YOU ARE BY FILMING IT. Fuckoff Big Shit

  • my cat was poisoned by our neighbour 3 days ago....i miss him so much. :(

  • your cat looks fine and happy

  • this made me cry poor cat

  • I am so sorry for your loss. She seemed like a great kitty, she was beautiful

  • I know but do you get your pet from suffering..or do you put you lovely pet down?? It is a verrrry hard thing to do..im a vet assistant and i can tell you I COULD NOT do this to an animal..I feel for all of you who lost there lil furry friend..myself I have lost a pet as well..xo

  • Last Friday, I'd my very sick 20 year old cat Jazzy euthanized. She was my baby, taking her to the vets table & saying good bye was the hardest thing I've ever done. Would loved too have been with her those last moments but sadly I wasnt strong enough, I walked out.

Thank-you for making this video so I could see how peaceful the transition is & so brave of you too xx

  • Thank you for this video. Going into the veterinary technician field, I'm very scared of euthanasia. But, your video lets me know that every case isn't horrific. Don't listen to the naysayers, they didn't see the cancer in her body. We lost our dog just a few months ago to cancer, that was how he was when he passed as well.

  • I can't say I agree with this video. This cat certainly didn't appear to be suffering to the point that death is warranted.

I had a cat that was in constant pain from several ailments, she was constantly lashing out and and obviously in pain at all times... We didn't euthanize her and after simply going to the vet and obtaining pain meds for her, she was happier than ever and lived several more years.

I dont know the full story, so I cant accurately judge. Just my opinion.

  • This is sad, but why is xxx and porn in the tags?

  • I got this by looking up "euthanasia" due to a paper I'm writing for an english essay, and after reading the description...umm...why is XXX and Porn tags for this vid?

  • U SICK BASTARD U KILLED HER !

  • now that was one intense game of snake.

  • Why on earth would somebody videotape this, what a creep!!!

  • @Lonewolf2011senior ... Says the person watching it...

  • @Hellfire2120 TBH though, how do you know he or she didn't just pause the video before it played, and went to comment / didn't actually watch the video?

  • @travelsonic Fair point, but it would be ignorant of them if they did.

  • This morning before I left for school, I found our family cat, Doudou, of over 20 years (22 years and 4 months) laying underneath our kitchen table. He was still alive, but looked to be in bad shape. I told my mom and dad to bring him to the vet, and then I left for school. Around 2nd period, I get called out by my parents to go the animal hospital to see Doudou one last time. We euthanized him there, and I lost my older brother today (I'm only 16). RIP Doudou I love and miss you.

  • I've recently become a volunteer at my local animal shelter. Last night, while working, I saw their was an 18 day old kitten that had a bad eye infection, and no one to ween it, the poor little thing had to be PTS. It was all alone and crying. I couldn't just leave him there. I took a small towel, and wrapped it gently around him, and held him in my arms, until it was his time, he was purring. I hope he felt loved, I had only known him for about 5 minutes. But I loved him.

  • :(

  • I lost my cat yesterday due to unexplained urinary/renal failure. It was a challenge maintaining composure as he faded in my arms. I buried him in the evening. As expected, I'm finding myself looking around the house, bringing him to life in all my memories. The next few days are going to be rough--I lost my silent best friend. :(

  • @KittySN Sorry, friend :(

  • @KittySN JUst did that today.

  • @KittySN Worst feeling in the world to have to put down a pet. I put down my cat in 2004. He was 24 years old.

  • @myyritenut 24 years? wow... he had a long happy life. I am so sorry to hear that though.

  • i dont understand the cat looked healthy and not in paint wy did he do it? did he not have enuff money to keep it or what?

  • why would an idiot record this????

  • @liveyourlifewell98 If you cannot comprehend why someone would post a video of their beloved pet being mercifully put down so that others can see it, then YOU are the IDIOT and completely IGNORANT.

  • oh no... :'(

  • Why are vets so damn greedy? Why are they charging $125 to put down an ailing cat or animal? This is why so many people in this economic crises choose to just let the animal die and then bury it in their own backyard. Shame on the Vets, you are greedy fuckin bastards.

  • @Truthrevealed21 I just had a dog put down yesterday and my vet only charged me $40 and he had to come out to my flatbed Ford, climb up in the truck, gave my friend a sedative, comforted him, waited for him to go to sleep, and then gave him the fatal dose of drugs. I have a good vet, however.

  • @kc8ntp

You have a very good Vet. But the problem here in Las Vegas is that all businesses are greedy and they capitalize on any pain you are feeling for your loved one. They don't take into account that the unemployment rate is high and people are losing homes left and right. Not to mention the receptionist at this Vets office was not even compassionate about my poor baby. All I see are good reviews about this vet and then they pull this with me. I will never go there ever.

  • @Truthrevealed21 I know how it is in Las Vegas: I lived there for a year and my wife grew up there. I have lived in Ely, Nevada for 10-years, now.

  • Why...Why would anybody tape this...why would you even bring a camera. Its all like:

    Dad- Son!Get the camera!!!

    Son- Why daddy

Dad- Cuz we're gonna go get our cat a euthanasia and put it on youtube,,,

Not cool, not a hate message or anything, but please dont do anything like this ever again..

  • @supahtutorialz Then you should not have watched it!

  • @kc8ntp lol, i would agree, but my medical class called for a five page essay on euthanasia, and i search it up...then i was on some vid that was talking about it, and then i accidentally clicked on this, and when i saw this, i felt kinda bad ya know....

  • @supahtutorialz If pet euthanasia is a reality in the world, what's wrong with showing it? Posting a video doesn't mean it's not sad. Decide for yourself what to watch, don't moralize on everybody else.

  • Im sorry.. but.. its kinda funny how porn is a tag

  • Omg I cried so much :(

  • to be honest thats a bit sad how u can do this. in a nice way your cat seemed very much happy. just becuase she had cancer dont mean shes in pain. my dog has a tumour and is bleeding from behind and needs help to eat and drink ect.. but she is still alive and happy. i dont think i could consider this unless my animals were in really BAD pain! like crying ect.. also im sry this came to u x

  • I am so so sorry for your loss. I have been through this 4 times with my cats....it is so heart breaking.

  • omgg she died so quickly :-( i wish i hadn't seen this..

truly hope she rests in peace. ♥

  • such a beautiful baby, she looks like my kitty chirkin whom we had to put down last month because of kidney failure. i know how much of a tough decision it is, at least they are much happier and without pain. at least you can know with comfort that you were a great friend to her because even her last moments with you were happy.

  • This is sad but at the same time I agreed cuz if the cat is suffering is the right choice to do!

  • Seems like a morbid thing to tape.

  • @Raddad878 Ya gotta understand that it's almost like scrapbooking, I guarantee you she has videos of first getting Peaches, other videos of Peaches doing cute things around the house, it's only respectful to record Peaches' final moments with her owner.

  • Only takes that split second, then they are gone. My cat died with her tongue sticking out and her eyes open too. Managed to get it back in and close her eyes before I left, just something that I had to do.

  • I swear this video made me cry. I am worried about my cat, he;s not eating anything and I think he is dying, and I came across your video. It broke my heart

  • FUCK YOU, HE LOOKED FINE. FUUUUUUUUUUUCK

  • @ethandestruction learn how to read. it was a SHE and it had Cancer.... jesus, you tube idiots....

  • @Jetkillr Sorry, i was mad about putting my own cat to sleep that day

  • Thank you for posting this. Im sorry for your loss. She looks beautiful and it is obvious how much she loved you and you loved her.

  • This is the right thing to do, no prolong suffer...

  • stop fucking rubbing the corpse!

  • Thank you for your kind treatment of your poor cat's terminal illness. She is now at peace and in total comfort. I know it was hard to do. I had to do the same for mine a few years ago. You did the right thing and you comforted her until the last moment. You are a caring and kind soul.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. This is the first time I've ever seen any animal euthanized and it broke my heart. I can't imagine what you had to go through even making that decision. She was a very sweet cat as I could see. I hope her memory lives on in your heart. <3

  • that is truly sad. its never pleasant for a cat to go that way. i own 4 cats and its such a asad thing to lose them to serious ailments or old age. my sister cried so hard the day we had randy our gray tabby put down at 17 years. this was years ago...

  • i woudnt ever let anyone do owt like that, to something i love, thats so sad :'(

  • My cat went yesterday :'(

  • :( im sory for your loss, i know how hard it is losing an animal that you love :(

  • @Aaron5185 i just went through the same thing, i can barely function either my cat just went through this a few days ago..except my doctor was a fuckin cunt peiece of shit...worst experience of mylife.

  • and this cat looks alot like my cat..... =(

  • I must say i am VERY upset and displeased that i couldnt have a nice, calm, and informative vet like this... my cats doctor didnt explain absolutly nothing to me, i did research on internet and saw other owners have their pets peacefully go. The doctors told the owners what to expect and how the procedure would go, but NOT my cunt doctor, he asked me to leave the room when i asked the same question this guy in the video did. BASTARRD..anyway RIP to this and my cat.

  • my heart broken seeing this. ): I precious every moment with my sweet kitty.

  • she went to sleep purring ;)

  • YOU KNOW I AM !!!GOD DAMN SICK!!! OF PEOPLE SAYING ( O It wont hurt it's just like it's he/she is going to sleep ) Well if you so fucking positive....let me do it to you...then we will bring you back...and you can tell us....FUCK THE SPCA-----THEY KILLED MY DOG!!!! O and bye the way watch ( 0:42 ) and tell me that didn't hurt

  • @teckNine2010 u know what i actually agree with u... fuck the doctor who put my cat to sleep, atleast this doctor was informative and nice unlike the cunt who did this to my cat...

  • @allenmiraval Wow...lmao

  • @allenmiraval PLEASE DIE

  • and I had to put my cat down cause it was suffering and lost more than half of his weight and I would have maxed out my credit card for him to be here still.... but when your kidneys are failing there is nothing you can do. if i am in the dying stage and suffering i would want the same done to me.... i miss my buddy :( july 5 2011

  • did this just this past week while he was in my lap :(

  • Let me also add that just because a vet tells you something does not mean it's true. Most vets have little education. What's required is a community college degree. So you are taking advice of someone who only has a community college education to their credit? Ya some 12 year olds are smarter. Again people put their pets down because they are SELFISH. They say its for the best of the animal but the reality is people do it for themselves. Because its painful for THEM to watch their animal die..

  • I've never put a pet down and never will. Animals like Humans can die on their own. Just selfish owners who don't want to pay vet bills or listen to their animals cry. Most people are selfish fucking assholes. This is fact. How would you like some random person to put you to sleep before it was your time? Idiots

  • @006969123 have you seen anyone die of cancer OR aids??? if so you know that they are some of the most painful things to go through.. ( yes cats can get cancer, yes cats can get aids, though i believe its way different than the human version ) so you would rather go bankrupt to save an animals life?? you would rather watch an animal suffer?? how is wanting to STOP an animals ( that may die anyway to illness or injury ) suffering being selfish???

  • @006969123 If i was suffering miserable, not myself, with no hope left, yeah i would just want to die, i dont its selfish to do this, however the FUCKING DOCTORS should be way more nicer and informative to the pet owners, this vet was nice, and was informative.

  • Thank you, my cat is being put down tomorrow and I really needed to see how peaceful it happened. Thank you for eternity for this!!! You've made it less hard. I owe you a massive hug!!

  • I cried after watching this video, I didn't think she would go out so fast after the euthanasia was injected.

  • Thank you... thank you for sharing this with the world... I've had several cats put down over the years (well, my family has) and I've always chickened out from being there, but now I know it is such a peaceful thing... why do we get so attached to those silly furry things hey? Thank you again..

  • @0913 Putting a pet down is best for a cat because they are suffering and in pain! I vowed never to put a pet down... but oh God... he was crying so badly...

  • cant stand cats but in any living thing the moment the soul goes its touching and sad

    soory for you, best wishes

  • my dog max was diagnosed with bone cancer yesterday and the tumor is the size of an orange. he has weeks left but i cant bear the burden that long. I know I should go with him to the vet but I just don't have the heart. any suggestions as to what i should do?

  • my cat looks just like yours, sticks the tounge out but my other one had to be put down :( so sad

  • i had to do this 5 days ago with my 5 year old cat. hardest thing i have ever done.

i take comfort knowing my cat is out of pain

  • I should be so lucky when I die. Stroked and comforted, by some one I know and love, and compassionately put to sleep. This is a death I want for myself barring naturally going in my sleep. This is what I call a good death.

  • thank you for sharing. i had to go through this today with my 14 y/o cat... sad happening but for good reasons. we got to stay for the whole process and after for as long as we needed. xoxoxo

  • damn i started crying....dat was really sad....well at least you gave Peaches a humane final moment. Otherwise, in light of her condition, she would have suffered terribly with no intervention...sorry for your loss...all i could think about was my cat Rupert and how much joy she brought us..

  • Im so sorry. :( I know what it feels like. But you had to do this, and your cat will always be greatful that she didn't have to suffer. Beautiful cat and a loving owner.

    Big hugs

  • Poor sweetie. I love cats so much. It's so hard to put a pet down but it's the best thing sometimes out of love.

  • Sorry for your lost~~

  • God bless you & Your Cat

  • I feel for you. I had to euthanize my cat just today. :(

  • Im sorry for your loss, but why is "xxx" and "porn" in your tags???

  • I am sorry for you loss. I feel your pain. We will be facing putting my best friend, Sassy, my calico, down later today. So, we clearly empathize

  • I share your pain. Later today we will be facing the same emotional experience. My best friend, Sas. Breaks my heart.

  • I share your pain. Later today we will be facing the same emotional experience. My best friend, Sas

  • Very sorry for lost of your little friend....I share your pain... I just put my cat down yesterday. I held her for the procedure, it was an extremely emotional experience. My Ashley had fatal kidney disease, couldn't watch her suffer no more. I will miss her big Blue eyes.

  • my cat had to be put down a few days ago. it sucks because the place said they were going to find him a home, but killed him 2 days later. sooo glad to see other people hurt too. he was only 1 yr old.

  • woa...pupils dilate around 4:20...so freaky

  • also another thing: she went at 0:47 only less than a minute...bone cancer is so painful for cats thank god she didn't have to suffer another day beautiful Peaches

  • ideal way to go for every and any animal... :( animals should never suffer it should always be quick and painless

  • I cried my eyes out! Sorry for your loss!

  • oh poor baby was purring and everything ,,,in kitty heaven ,,,xxxxxx

  • thats makes me sad

  • i'm sorry for your friend...

  • fuck.....fuck you

  • @09133217957 what the hell is wrong with you? why would you even comment on a video like this with such negativity?!?! do you have any idea how painful that was for the owner. FUCK YOU.

  • @MrKittychow101

painful for the owner....i don`t think so......i`m sorry for the bad word that i used because i was so impressed with the video.....but i do not agree with the hellish thing that the owner of the poor cat did to the little creature which CAN NOT DEFEND ITSELF....

  • @09133217957

When we put my cat down he had 3 weeks left to live. So it was either let him shit is guts out or have everyone be with him when we said goodbye. It is painful because we love him so much and it hurts to not have him around.

It would be more hellish to let him die that way rather than putting him down.

  • @thisisBB by the way he is gone...just a memory of him has been left behind,i am a doctor of medicine and i see people every day how they suffer from terminally ill cancers,,thinking of euthanasia to relieve their pain is not that much as easy as pet euthanasia...tnx for reply to my comment sorry again for the bad word i used...

  • Sorry for your loss, we have go thru this tomorrow with our cat of 17 years...

  • I think its sad but also beautiful, a cat with an owner has a great life, they don't have to work to live, they can lounge around all day and play and when they get old or get sick they don't suffer because its legal to euthanize them.

I think ending the life of a suffering being that will never recover is a beautiful thing that we should take pride in.

Its sad to let our loved ones go but its life and what really matters is how was the ride, how was the experience.

  • I had to put my neighbor down too. I was laughing when i injected the lousy bitch with "Sodium thiopental." Whatever that is...

  • Comment removed

  • im sorry for your lost, I know how you feel beacause today i gave my cat the Euthanasia (kidneys problems and dehydration). But that's life we have to live it.

  • hilarious

  • did she died at 0:46

  • @youcevilan i mean did she die at 0:46

  • @youcevilan I think so.

  • @Firesite i feel sorry for your loss

    my compassions to you!!!

  • It's tough when a pet dies.

  • I teared up for this. It may just be an animal, but most animals still have personalities just like humans. I couldn't imagine my cat passing.

  • You did the right thing by ending her suffering, I know that must have been very hard.

  • Im not a cat fan but this is really sad :( im sorry for your lost

  • @jnnfrngo Thanks.

  • @Firesite that had to be hard to tape. i'm happy she was happy when she died. it's like she knew she was going to heaven:)

  • I am actually grateful that you filmed this. My cat died almost exactly a year ago of a stroke and I was away at school when it happened. I never got to see hold his body or anything. But the one picture I saw had his tiny pink tongue sticking out, just like your little one. Through your video, I was able to finally grieve and imagine how it would have been to spend the last few minutes with my cat. So, thank you.

  • Sorry for your loss, losing any loved one human or animal is terrible.

  • lol 118 votes for like? wtf is wrong with you people!

  • Thanks for this video. I just had to put down my cat today, who had hyperthyroid desease and a brain tumor. He was 17 years old. I couldn't bear to be with him when he passed, and felt guilty afterward. This shows me how humane the process really is. You are very brave.

  • @ejpg9700 I had to put my cat down of thyroid desease as well a few years ago. one of the hardest things ever.

  • My mom had to put her cat to sleep today. She also had bone cancer, but her tumor was in her right back leg.

  • Im so sorry

  • sad :( RIP

  • This made me cry....

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I was too emotional to stay with my cat for the euthanasia. This brings me some relief that the process was quick & painless. Im not a bad owner. I was screaming in tears just seeing the cathedar. Plus it was sudden massive heart failure & left leg lameness from a blood clot. We were just so shocked. This all happened with no signs within 4 hours :(

  • @andream1985

I lost two in 15 months; the first was 20.5, the second 21years, four months. The first arrested in my arms on the way to the vet; the second, who was given one month with an untreatable lymphoma lived eight months and crashed in about a week.

I can assure you this video, however reassuring, does not depict how truly peaceful the end is, particularly with prior sedation.

The pets just doze off. That's it. It may be small consolation but your pets suffering was mercifully short.

  • Thanks for posting this video. We had to put my one of my cats down Monday as she had a tennis ball size tumor in her stomach preventing her from eating. We took her for her checkup and it didn't go as we wished. This video however got me ready for what would happen. She was 12 and I don't think without this video, I would have been given the proper time to say goodbye. Thank you sir

  • @auron508

There really is no optimal time to say goodbye. The two pets I lost since 10/2009 were 20 and 21. It wouldn't matter if our pets lived until they were 50, we'll always think their leaving was too soon.

You must remember this: but for you, your pet might not have had a home or perhaps spent its life in a home where it was not as cherished as it was by you and your family.

The grief you feel is for caring deeply is acute but it will pass in time as all grief ultimately does.

  • I don't think it's weird at all to want to share a trying moment with your YouTube family...

  • Animals can be "stoic" and be in alot more pain then they let on. It is true that some types of parasites can cause cancer in animals? I have to admit, this video is very compelling to watch... God Bless!

  • Where there's life there's hope!!! If my cat got cancer, even bone cancer, I would resort to the internet, herbal remedies, etc. I truly believe that thru nature, God has supplied us with everything we need to cure illness. It's just a matter of finding it. Euthanasia sucks, and there are times when vets are wrong! If I had bone cancer, I would fight hard to live & the animals deserve the same. I mean, if they are not crying in agony, then who are we to assume they are suffering??!!!

  • @PGWARNER

It is not merely "suffering" that is the only consideration. There is the quality of life: is the cat merely "subsisting"--living to eat a little and sleep only. Has it become incontinent? Has it stopped grooming? Lost weight? Even if it APPEARS not to be suffering what is its pulse and respiration--if elevated they mask

    suppressed pain.

Who are we to make that decision? Humans with the capacity to give rest to a pet when we prolong its life to

avoid our own fears and loss.

  • good riidence.

  • This is very sad to watch, but very necessary. That poor kitty will no longer be suffering. As you can see, the kitty did not suffer at all during the euthanasia process. I am in animal control and i see this almost everyday. It takes a very strong and loving owner to stay for something like this.

  • @bgharperful

It takes a remarkably compassionate and brave human being to do the work you do. You do realize, I hope, that were it not for people like you more animals would suffer and die slow and painful deaths.

Yours must be one of the most-difficult jobs a human can do.

  • @YD8189

I think pulling the trigger for an electrocution chair or putting a needle into a death row inmate is much harder than doing it to a pet.

  • @YekaDruid

Perhaps but that would depend on the executioner's moral beliefs about execution and his feelings about the condemned. Charlie Jones, a former Alabama warden, pulled the switch on 19 men and professed that he did not in any way feel badly about it. His admission was supported by an officer who worked for him. My guess is Jones is not the only man to feel this way. History had many executioners (Grover Cleveland) who did not express remorse or consider the job difficult.

  • how did yu not start balling!?!?! its not even my cat and i about cried my eyes out!! Dx

  • what was she suffering from??

  • Sorry!

  • Beware of university veterinary hospitals. They will give you false hope, experiment on your animal to educate the students

When it`s time to pay your bill balance for the pet they say is now appearing to show signs of recovering, beware. They may have just shot your pet up with adrenalin in order that you pay and take it home.

Maybe when the adrenalin wears off your pet goes into seizures and you call the hospital back for help...but all they say they will do is euthanize your pet....for a fee

  • Comment removed

  • would you put your parents to death via lethal injection if they have cancer? would you want someone to euthanize you because you cant walk and have a tumor in your leg? wouldnt you want to have the choice to pick whether you live or die if you have cancer? why take away the cat's only remaining thing that is the choice to live or die?

why not just let it live its short life in peace and make it memorable.

  • @To0t

That's a foolish question. First, assisted death of a human is a crime. Second, this cat was given two weeks by the vet which suggests it could not only not ambulate but was probably incapable because moving was extremely painful. Third, the moral obligation of every pet owner is to have the courage to end the life of a beloved pet who is only subsisting. Both cats and dogs have an exceptional ability to mask pain to avoid predators.

Your indictment of this woman was out of line.

  • This is so sad how the cat seems so playful, as she is being put to sleep, she seemed so happy, I bet she's happier now.

  • My cat was put down about a month ago and he was 21 years old and he ate like a pig he just wouldn't gain any weight.

  • jwlewisii:

I am going through the same thing with my 16 year old kitty (jaw cancer). The situation, as you described it, is surreal. An awful kind of surreal, that is. One day you have a perfectly healthy wirey cat...the next, not so much. I am preparing for the "final decision", so to speak, and came here to see if I could handle being with my boy in the end. After watching Firesite's video, I believe that I can. And, I applaud him for educating us the manner that he has. RIP fur babies.
