Av been trying to get that amazing tune for years !!`it just sums up the full rave scene for me ,took first trip -flying key - & when it kicked in that tune kicked in !!` heaven ! was only 14 yr old but back then everyone was at it & loving it `was no the bad vibes get now `that tune was the start of ma magic day`s & night`s of raving`& never looked back after that experience `the best years of ma life ....respect to all you fellow ravers ``THE GOOD OLD DAY`S X` total respect for uploading 101%.
@Xivek I can honestly say that I will never again experience such an amazing feeling of absolute joy as I did when the DJ dropped a big tune and my hands flew into the air in wild, crazy abandon. As the each track built into one blissful moment of pure ecstacy, we all felt connected. Like we were dancing as one. No-one cared who you were or what you looked like. We were just there to dance. And dance we did!! Time machine?? Yes bloody please!!!! :-D
i wish krome and time stayed with the old school rather than going to the jungle scene. This tune is seriously under-rated. capable of bringing the house down every single time.
This tune sums up the whole scene,it was underground music and should of stayed underground, but unfortunatly because it was so fucking good it got too popular bought attention of police who started breaking up the partyies, the dealers started destroying the drugs for profit and the whole thing got out of hand. But for a time and those who remember they were magic nights.
@dibbler08 I know what you mean man. Listened to newer stuff pretty much all the three or four years I've listened to electronic music. Trance, DnB, Hardstyle, you name it. It was all missing something though. And this oldskool stuff has it. It definitely has soul.
lol - let me give you all an idea how far reaching this music was for its time. I am a priest now. Honest! Was born in 75. Haha. Those days were magical. still have my decks but realised that we only experience love because of the God of love. God bless you all. Keep enjoying yourselfs but leave the drugs alone. trust me!
i was there in the rave scene from 89 to 93 then got into festivals and radiohead this was a top tune in the day!!! wow if only i had a time machine id give wonderland arena lea bridge road a little spin!!!!
i second that,or is it third.not into any of the crap thats around today..respect to the youts but this music is killing anything your into...maybe it will catch on,and then we can enjoy livin like before...peace to one and all..bustin out a sweat...dance buoyeeeee.
i was in a club and this came on, ive always loved this tune, i have it on vinyl and a few cds, so i made some noise for the tune, then looked around and everyones like what you doing, so dissapointing to see people like that, anyway the dj new where i was comin from lol
if u in a club and u hear dis classic, an some new skool punks in shiny jackets, aint feeling da vibes coz they minds can't hack it, itz coz itz all about klass, u got it they lack it!!! Back to the old skool
CLASSIC! Lord-A-Mercy :O) Still bangin' after all of the years. To the powers that be, let this slice o' vinyl be playing in heaven at this very moment, irie. With love from SF.
It was the 60's of the 90's. Awesome atmosphere. Everyone out to have a massive time. I'd drive down the road with the tunes belting out of my car and buses would pull up next to me and people would be nodding next to you grinning. Best times!!
HI Daveguava, you're so right, these rave days were our summer of love but with a dance beat, no aggro as we were all on happy pills, the music was revolutionary and practically nobody was drinking so everyone just danced all night.
there was none of this 'knife crime....gangs of youths on street corners' back in the day.......all we had was foooookin good tunes, beer & sexeeeeeeeeeeeeee girls ! ! ! ! ! ! & i was well happy with that.........1990-1997 R.I.P. top tunes......
@hgvneil drugs or not, I wish I was in position to experience the early 90s hardcore then early jungle & d&b 'scenes'...the UK folks who were able to participate should cherish it as heritage...there is nothing like this music...a lot of it was made on old trackers, amiga the whole lo-fi thing....then u had the akai samplers with the nice warm sound and timestretch algorithim...
@21stCenturyDub I'm glad i spent my early 20'2 "living" this music! It was a special time in UK culture and a turning point in our social heritege so sadley lost these days! The scene became watered down in every sense to be replaced By chavs!! lol
The original sample comes from Ultramagnetic MC's - Chorus Line, but every hardcore producer must have sampled the beat from Nebula II - Atheama as it has that really heavy reverb added to it...

Top tune from back in the day...... I only listen to music from 88-late 90`s as
most of the rubbish produced today has no soul, and is manufactured for the
masses and only serves as a cash cow for those producing the mindless
waffle that we now call music.
