Buttons have a tactile feel. You feel the button as it is depressed.. A little action is better then no action. The rubber strings feel solid. I'm constantly over forcing the strings because I expect some type of tactile response which is not there. Buttons are better IMHO.
Does anyone know what the functional differences are between the button neck, and the rubber materials this one is made of? Is one better than the other? I would think this one would hold up better over time than all those tiny buttons, but which one has a better response?
Hi, I would advise saving your pennies up for a Z6 or a Z5. Starr Labs has some amazing deals on them. There are times when you simply want / need strings and want the additional frets. the babyZ only comes with 16 frets all other models have 24.
